2019 3rd round pick is Zach Allen DE

I meant long arms. He has 34 inch arms and, unlike most rookie DL, can use them to his advantage.

2019 3rd round pick is Zach Allen DE

He will come great for us! Overlooked due to his 5 second 40 yard time. Before the combine, he was considered a potential late 1st rounder in this stacked DL class. His 10 yard split was exceptional though for his size, and that's all he needs in the trenches. He is so strong and uses his arms...

2019 2nd round pick is Byron Murphy CB

Rather have a solid technician with high football instincts, fluid movement skills but average height and long speed, than a stiff 6'2 brick who runs 4.3 but gets torched by good route runners and commits too many PIs. Byron Murphy is a legit 1st round talent. When you scout CBs, tape is your...

2019 3rd round pick is Zach Allen DE

That's a stupid take. Before the combine some evaluators saw 1st round potential in him. He didn't test well in shorts, but watching his tape he passes the eye test. Uses his long hands very well and moves very fluid for his size. There is no way he doesn't improve our run defense at least.

So now we see what happens with Rosen

People in here are ridiculous. Murray is probably the best dual threat prospect ever. His combination of accuracy, be it from the pocket or outside from different platforms, and athleticism is something we've never seen before. This is a perfect fit for KK, a great offensive schemer in a wide...

    I’m Still Confused

Hindsight is so sweet. Could've announced Murray a week or two ago. But then what? Rosen's value would've been where it is right now long before the draft. Nobody is trading away significant value for a known - albeit talented - commodity after a horrible rookie year, when this is a really deep...

    Who trades for Rosen?

Still hope for a 2nd. With the Giants reaching big-time for Jones and Haskins falling all the way to Washington, the flow of the draft did us no favors. Someone moving up in front of the Giants would have caused a QB run which would have helped us. Despite me fully believing Rosen, at age 22...

    I'm out

That's so harsh. Murray is a risky pick, but his pure talent and overall upside are far above Rosen's, along with being a better scheme fit. It is the most important positon without a doubt. Just sucks that we had no QB last year and had to do something, therefore drafting Rosen was a good move...

    Visions of Bosa crushing Murray

Bosa is too slow and stiff to catch Murray!

OT- 49ers Thomas is on the block

Good example of why even the safest prospects sometimes don't pan out. Solomon Thomas had it all as a prospect - strength, quickness, explosion, technique and versatility. Maybe not the freak like Quinnen or Ed Oliver, but even in this draft he he would be a surefire top 10 pick as a prospect.

The Cardinals will try to trade out of the first pick

Trading down even for a below average offer and still being able to draft Ed Oliver, who might turn out the biggest game changer in this deep DL class anyway, would be a solid move. The additional top 100 picks could set up a nice foundation for the future which we need badly. Let alone an...

Kliff Kingsbury says Cardinals not sure at #1 pick with 48 hours to go

Not that it really matters what KK says regarding the draft. As we all know, nothing is true and nothing is wrong leading up to the draft. It's all smoke and mirrors. That said, after listening to KK's press conference and what he said about Rosen and the whole situation, you really couldn't...

    A vote for Quinnen Williams

Mahomes was the 10th overall pick. I loved him and wanted us to trade up badly. I was wrong on QB prospectsprosp times before though. Hindsight is always 20/20. If anything, Mahomes has opened the door for spread and Air Raid QBs and those who can extend plays. Brees and Wilson have kind of...

Which of these draft Prospect WRs would Help our Current Team the Most?

Either a speed demon who can take the lid off, or a big body who can win with size in the RZ and on 3rd down. Tbh I think we will draft both types of WRs. Other than Fitz and Kirk, none of our current WRs has shown much, if anything in the NFL.

    Respect for this organization.

We were sitting at pick #15 last year, in danger of going into the season with Bradford/Glennon of all people. Rosen fell to #10. We traded up without giving up any future picks, hence we managed to keep our 2nd round pick in that draft (Kirk). If Murray is deemed a much better prospect, much...

    Cards 2019 Schedule

I like our schedule. Many home games against doable opponents early on where we could build up some momentum thanks to the KK surprise factor. Also I like a later bye over an early bye in general, although you never know when/if the injury bug hits you. Bottom line, we can only surprise. There...

The Myth That Mobile QBs Don't Take Sacks/Hits

Even if Murray gets sacked a ton like the mobile QBs mentioned, he won't be a sitting duck getting hit by a truck like Rosen. Always better you are chased down on the move, give up yourself or go out of bounds, rather than being drilled standing firm in the ground. Think about this too...

History of the Arizona Cardinals QB position

Talent evaluation is quite easy. Nkemdiche has all the talent in the world. Keim himself said that you are hardly ever missing on the player, but on the person. Character, work ethic, injury history have to be accounted for and your list shows very talented 1st round player that made some sort...

History of the Arizona Cardinals QB position

At first I was totally against drafting Murray. But right now I'm at peace with whichever decision we make, including drafting Murray 1st overall. When you look at the pitiful history of the QB position since the franchise moved to Arizona, you couldn't fault Keim for taking a QB each and every...

    OT- Wilson Trade Rumor

Wilson just agreed on a massive new deal, as expected. Some pathetic reports in this thread. That was worse **** than all this draft rumour **** over the last couple months.

Report: Raiders expected to not take QB

Nobody will trade up to #1 for a DE. The dropoff from Bosa to Quinnen or Josh Allen is very small, if there is a dropoff at all. And don't forget about the deep pool of highly talented DEs in this draft. Only way we are able to sell the #1 pick is for a QB.
