New coach can help these Cardinals?

I mean we made one if not the worst defense in the league look like the '85 Bears defense. At least the pass rush showed up, 5 sacks yesterday which is the total they had after the first 3 games of this season I believe?

Is local sports media getting snippier?

To be honest, we should have signed a NFL K for Sundays game, not a guy cut by KC after missing a FG and PAT in their only loss of the season. Not defending Murray because he definitely made mistakes but they spiked the ball because they didn't want to rush an inexperienced K and give him time...

    Hassan Reddick

For an ILB his numbers weren't bad considering he didn't start most of the games he played until Year 4 when he blew up as a pass rusher. Not sure what the option year salary was but I am sure it wasn't cap breaking. He actually showed a lot of promise his second year but then in came Vance...

    Hassan Reddick

This one is actually on Keim. He could have franchised Reddick even after the 5th year option blunder but decided Kennard and Golden would fill the void, turned out he was wrong as usual. Funny, even CAR appears to have made the same mistake after his productive year there.

NBA Free Agency and Trades 2022

I think playing for the Knicks and Thibs has worn on him at least I hope that is what it is. Love his production don't get me wrong but its on a Knicks team that really doesn't have a reliable star player. Barrett is a little inconsistent but may get there if Randle is traded. Collins has a...

NBA Free Agency and Trades 2022

I think his fall off offensively is due to him falling in love with 3pt shot. He would provide toughness especially after losing Crowder. I would rather have Collins but not sure ATL is interested in dealing him now. Acquiring Randle now and possibly revisiting an Ayton for Collins or Capela...

Starting from the top, what are your true feelings about Bidwill, Keim, Kingsbury, and Kyler?

Bidwill - Sell team to new big money Suns owner (fingers crossed Jeff Bezos). Keim - Doesn't belong in NFL front office, won't get another GM job if ever gets fired in ARZ. Kliff - Future HS or desperate university coach (see ASU).

Didn't he get traded to DET? Can't imagine DET trading for him just to flip him.

Our problems exist because of Kingsbury

We'll see come CFB playoffs. Big 12 wasn't very strong during Riley years so OU was cream of the crop. I think USC beats ORE and UCLA this year but get beat by either UGA, CLEM, ALA. Dude can recruit, he got a ton of transfers to USC so that definitely helped him.

Antonio Hamilton says he’s 90 percent healed from burns

Teams overlook legal issues all the time for talented players all he time. Gladney didn't show enough talent in his only season in MIN to warrant keeping him on roster after his DV case. I don't recall hearing or reading him having any other offers other than ARZ after being found not guilty and...

    Suns Off-season Thread

Here are some Crowder trade packages I've seen for PF's: 1. Crowder, Craig, 2025 2nd rounder to UTA for Lauri Markannen 2. Crowder, Okogie, 2025 1st rounder to WAS for Kyle Kuzma 3. Crowder, Saric, 2024 lotto protected 2024 1st rounder to NY for Julius Randle

Antonio Hamilton says he’s 90 percent healed from burns

I said this offseason, technically Mullen wasn't acquired during offseason so he didn't have a training camp or preseason to compete with Hamilton and other CB's on roster.

    Potential Suns Owners

Hoping for owner who has the pockets to purchase other AZ sports franchises and save us from owners who don't seem committed to winning long term. Guess that leaves just Bezos, Ellison & Powell-Jobs.

    Minor League Prospect Watch 21-22

He's at a crossroads. I was ecstatic ARZ landed him in Greinke haul but injuries seemed to derail his development. With all ARZ bullpen issues this year, he would seem like a very viable option next year. Hope AZ Fall League is his spring board into permanent big league spot.

    Isaiah Simmons

Hindsight is everything in terms of draft. Henderson is a bust but at the time would he have been a good choice at #8, yes. AJ Terrell went at #16, he has been good, not great in ATL but he would be better than what we have now at CB even if he wasn't viewed as a Top 10 guy but again hindsight...

I am not giving VJ a pass because any good coach / coordinator tailors their system to the personnel they have and both KK & VJ have not. But just to give some perspective, look at the losses and additions in the KK era and you will notice more has been done to offense than defense in terms of...

Antonio Hamilton says he’s 90 percent healed from burns

I wouldn't expect him to have VJ's scheme down at this point only being in it for about 3 weeks so we shall see what we have.

Antonio Hamilton says he’s 90 percent healed from burns

Let's be honest, Gladney (RIP) was no more proven than Hamilton. He was signed to be starting CB but he was no guarantee to win the job.

    Isaiah Simmons

The reason Joseph will go first is because he did not just undeservingly receive a 5 year extension and DC's are easier to replace than HC's. But make no mistake, you get a an NFL caliber HC and this team is much better. Also, look at the roster VJ has now, no real pass rusher, no CB's, etc. The...

That's probably because no new "real" competition for CB2 was brought in this offseason, thanks Steve Keim!!!

Agreed, Kingsbury is a much bigger problem than Joseph.

Report: Panthers owner David Tepper to remain patient with head coach Matt Rhule

I think there are other bigger college football programs waiting in Rhule (Nebraska) so ASU would have some competition for Rhule I believe.
