    Diamondbacks To Sign Bronson Arroyo

You made a dumb statement and I asked you to back it up. All I am asking is for you to provide one tiny piece of evidence to back up your statement. If trolling in your mind equals accountability then yes, I am trolling. I want to have insightful discussion about baseball and comments like...

    Diamondbacks To Sign Bronson Arroyo

Also, provide some examples of how he destroyed the Blue Jays farm system. It is kind of hard to do as a special assistant to the GM.

    Diamondbacks To Sign Bronson Arroyo

Apparently you didn't hear he was interviewed by the Astros for a position in their front office? Also you apparently didn't read this... insider.espn.go.com/blog/keith-law/post/_/id/1297/players-whove-exceeded-my-expectations Name a writer who scouts players that you agree with. Curious...

D-Backs offer Tanaka six years and $120MM

Why? That let's the owners put more money in their pockets. This is the unfortunate reality. Bigger pocketed teams can afford to sign guys like this. Smaller market teams, like the Diamondbacks, need to grow players in their farm systems and let them play. You can sign a few free agents...

Matt Davidson Traded for Addison Reed

I'm sorry but a closer is no where near the most important position on the team. I don't know what experts you have looked at, but most would agree a 200 inning guy or everyday player is way more valuable than a closer. Any guy who throws 50-70 innings automatically has their value capped...

Matt Davidson Traded for Addison Reed

Not really cheap for that long. This is his last year of pre-arb. Starting next year he will be getting expensive fast. That said, don't hate the move, but I don't like the idea of giving up an everyday player for someone who will throw 70 innings.

DBacks acquire Trumbo in 3 team deal

He is arb eligible this year and will probably make $4 to $4.5 mil this year.

DBacks acquire Trumbo in 3 team deal

You are seriously scewing the stats to try and make your point. He has played 3 full seasons (120, 153, 184 strikeouts) and Reynolds gets on base at a better clip than Trumbo.

DBacks acquire Trumbo in 3 team deal

Both prospects are rule 5 eligible. This deal is beyond pathetic. We just traded a good pitching prospect and outfield prospect for Mark Reynolds.

D-Backs Determined To Leave Orlando With Choo Or Trumbo

The Angels and White Sox have two of the worst farm systems in baseball. I'd be wary of the type of guy we are really going to get. This trade looks awful at best and a disaster at worst depending on the type of contract Towers gives Trumbo.

D-Backs Determined To Leave Orlando With Choo Or Trumbo

But you are giving up a prospect for Choo. He was given a qualifying offer which means the Diamondbacks have to give up their 1st round pick to sign him.

    Shin-Soo Choo - CF - any interest

Sorry, I do not agree with your suggestions. To begin with, I am not sure why you are are using Nate Schierholtz's 2013 stats. He is a career .242/.254/.455 at Chase (66 at bats) which is of course no where near enough data to get a true picture of his worth. We do know he is a career...

D-Backs - Cubs Talking Trade - Jeff Samardizja

Why would Towers care about the D-Backs future? If he doesn't win this year he is gone so he might as well mortgage the future to get a contract extension. A lame duck GM is the worst thing you can have in sports.

    2014 D'Backs Offseason

He is actually more of a groundball pitcher though he will probably end up more neutral as he continues to work his way up the ladder. This season between Visalia and Mobile he had a GO/AO 1.03 which pretty much equates to one ground ball for every flyball hit. Last year in South Bend he was...

    Shin-Soo Choo - CF - any interest

Because he has a history and it is quite ugly. Stop using 54 plate appearances as any example of what he can do. His career OBP is .315. In pretty much the same at bats Eaton's is .332. In the minors Campana's OBP is .356 over the course of 6 years. Eaton's is .450 over 4. Add all that to...

    Shin-Soo Choo - CF - any interest

How exactly do we know what Eaton and Pollock can or can't do yet we don't know what Campana can do? Eaton has 380 PA (.254/.332/.373) in the majors and has been in pro ball since 2010. Pollock has 575 PA (.265/.320/.406) and been in pro ball since 2009. Campana has 401 PA...
