    So, at midnight tonight, I have to start a clear liquid diet for my colonoscopy on Wednesday. I equate the next 24+ hours of broth, popsicles, and jello to watching preseason football lol. Can’t wait until 9/8, as real football gets me back to eating ribs, wings, and pasta!

    I don’t disagree that the D is still a work in progress. But, it’ll still be much better than last year. Next years draft is a defensive one, so we’ll continue to get better on that side of the ball. Preseason is vanilla, vanilla, vanilla.

    Go watch JG’s post game presser. That’s as mad as I’ve seen him, although he still does a good job of masking it. The penalties really pissed him off. He was happy to not see turnovers & had we not created 2 turnovers, then the score would have been uglier.

    He’s a very good special teams player. I believe he played ST’s for the Ravens in the AFC Championship game last year. He went to PSU as a multiple sport guy, couldn’t quite make it in football, so I think he ran track instead.

    I said they’d be fine, I never said they would be a SB team. Barring an injury riddled season, a Shanahan coached team will always at least make the playoffs.
