    My non-professional guess is that he will get a contract that makes him the highest paid TE. About 17.5 mil per year. And if you want me to share why it would be smart for the Cardinals to pay it, I can.

    Pass. Personally. Are you talking Ersery or Emery Jones? I think I would rather have Grant or Walker or Harmon or Nolan than those two. But, I haven't watched Ersery as much as I have he defensive front prospects.

    If you look at it from a human perspective, putting Darius on IR for the season probably isolates him even more at a time when he needs people around him.

    Yes. I think Washington, Green Bay and LA Chargers were Kyler's worst games this season, and in those games, I don't feel like he "cost us" anything. Played ok vs Buffalo and Detroit, and think better play could have beat the Bills. I don't believe it would have mattered vs Detroit.

    I liked that we are starting to do creative things with our athletic, young TE. Can't wait for the McBride pass off the end around action.

    Where I slightly disagree is that I don't believe Kyler played "poorly" in those games even if I believe we could have beat the Bills if he has played better.

    I don't know that Kyler's play has "cost" us games. I think we had some games that if Kyler had played better, we would have won. That said, my point was that Kyler needs to eliminate/limit bad performances like his games vs GB, LAC and WASH to ensure we have a shot each week. Fun Kyler fact...

    We are almost in "QB on a rookie contract" territory. Very little cap dollars tied up long term. There is no need to cut Jalen to move off of his contract. The reason you would trade him is to open up a spot for DTD and if you extend Budda.
