A year ago nearly everyone on this board said Hundley was a terrible QB and wanted nothing to do with him.Amazing how much Hundley improved in a year.:shrug:
So who`s to say that even with a slight regression from Seattle and SF that the Cards can improve enough to be serious threats for the division..i don`t see that happening next season.
Not talking out of both sides. For the same reason I don't buy the KM hype and want to see more before I decide. Same with Isabella .I am waiting to see if Isabella can raise his game next season before writing him off.IMHO if Isabella had played in the puny defenses in the Big 12 his results...
Isabella had 102 catches 1698 yards 13 TDs his senior year.Over a 1000 yards his junior year and 800 yards his soph year. 231 catches college career 3500 yards and 30 TDs .Wasn't any good in college?
Yet when he did get chances he made some big plays.Using your logic then DKHumphries should not even be here.He sat his entire rookie season after being a top pick.Yet you continue to say he should be resigned. So it works both ways.
Worst to first? Really doubt it.Every team in the division would have to regress and I sure as hell don't think that's happening.Too many holes a little faith in the FO to fix them all in one off season.
Why not wait and see if Isabella develops next season instead of playing "what if" with guys who might or might not have good seasons in AZ if they had been drafted by SK.Too early to write off Isabella as a blown pick.Using that logic how about Hakeem Butler who missed the entire season? Does...
I want defense first.DLine/Pass rusher.I want a guy who can be solid versus the run and pressure the QB.Chandler Jones can`t do it alone.Zach Allen might/could be a factor with continued development a guy who can pressure the QB some and be effective versus the run.IDk who it is but Cards have...
I continue to beat the drum for a defender who can pressure the QB and be good versus the run.Pressure on the QB makes the DBs job easier if the QB can`t sit back and enjoy the luxury having all day to pick a WR.
Lamar Jackson has made many naysayers eat a large dose of crow. His continued development shows that with real coaching and hard work a player can raise his game to the next level.Murray should take note and aspire to do the same.
Murray is better than Rosen.I do think Rosen has been put in 2 impossible situations but that`s not what we are talking about.I expected more from KM...…..he did flash those skills at times....other times he didn`t .That's what I based my view on .Inconsistent play.Do I like the potential ..yes...
I can`t see why so many take being skeptical and wanting to see more consistent all around play as being negative? As a fan for a long time being burned by finding the QBOF its easy to reserve judgement IMHO.
So basing my view on a Qb who was 5-10-1 with RedZone issues,12 interceptions,48 sacks balanced out by 20 TD passes ONE WIN over a team with a .500 or better record, and being inconsistent is grudging.I say you are grasping.
considering KM was 1-7 versus teams with winning records( opponets record 60-20)
163-267-1877-7 td passes-4 interceptions
4-3-1 versus teams with even or losing records ( opponets record 42-86-1)
186-285-1835-13 td passes-8 interceptions
6 double digit losses
2 double digit wins
As I said several times before- KM has flashed good talent and he has also had bad games.Sure it would be all sunshine and lollipops if we knew he would do all the things needed.Point is we don`t know.KM could raise his game or he could pull a Mayfield.
