    I don't know if the players like it as much, but I do like how Vogel is tinkering around the edges of the lineup, trying different combos with the core 6 (Nurk, KD, Beal, Book, Allen, Gordon). KBD and Okogie are the beneficiaries right now, but Drew, Metu and Bol have come up big in recent games...

    He's elite at change of speeds. His ability to stop on a dime or accelerate at a gap is pretty fun to watch, especially as he has the handles to enable these actions.

    Closest I could find is here: https://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/PHO/2024/splits/ Doesn't show pace specifically so I looked at FGAs per month. Doesn't seem to be any correlation there, but the TO's have been down month over month.

    Tough to nitpick with the end of the bench guys in a season where playing time is hard to come by, but wish Goodwin got others involved more. He was a black hole on offense.

    That attack by KBD for the reverse layup is huge. Need other guys to make plays once in a while both to keep the defense honest and also to get a little reprieve for the big 3 always having to make something happen.

    Not often you can say it this year, but Phoenix is playing very poised right now. Not letting the riff raff get to them (too much).

    I hope Luka is ok and plays in the 2nd. It's clear Phoenix needs more reps defensively, they're still missing rotations and leaving shooters and cutters wide open.

    Okogie makes more sense when they play KD at the 5, as it's one more shooter they have to account for on the outside. With Nurk or Drewbanks and Okogie together, the spacing is a lot tougher.

    Okogie needs to stop trying to draw fouls on those backcourt screens. The refs are not calling it, and it's leading to odd man breaks in the front court.
