    More happening?

Ibaka would be a good piece to play next to Ayton, Cam, or Dario. Would give us a lot more flexibility to go small (Cam at the 4 and Ibaka at the 5 means a full lineup of plus shooters) or big (Ibaka and Ayton would be able to handle big front courts as well as most anyone).

    2020 Draft

Wild speculation on my part... Leon Rose was CP3 and Booker's agent, but now runs the Knicks. The Knicks were said to like Toppin, but recently moved up to 23 with lots of buzz they are packaging it with 8 to move up. Maybe Rose and/or CAA was steering Toppin to the Knicks but they set their...

    Free Agency 2020

My understanding is Kaminsky could be used to help facilitate something like this. I could be wrong; haven't researched in-depth. Not sure how I would feel about this anyway. I think, even at 35, Tucker would bring some defensive clout. That said, I worry about investing in two 35-year-olds for...

    More happening?

I hope Gambo is wrong on this. Either of those guys would be a fantastic option at 10 in this draft.

    2020 Draft

I believe they were talking about Tyler Bey and (correct me if I'm wrong) you're thinking of Saddiq Bey.

    Free Agency 2020

I think those touting Tucker were hoping we could get him by trading down from 10 to 16.

He was a 1st rounder. But yeah...he's awesome!

    2020 Draft

Give me one of Bertans, Wood, or Grant and a promising PGOF in the draft and I am very happy with this offseason.

Suns need to be more athletic in 2021

Interesting to look back at these: https://www.nbadraft.net/2015-nba-draft-combine-athleticism-test-results/ It's obviously not a "who's who" of NBA athletes but, unless I am missing something, Booker scores higher in shuttle and lane agility than anyone else. His shuttle and agility are much...

Suns trade ideas for the fall of 2020

    A) You obviously didn't watch the whole video. B) My main point being there is a huge difference between the shots guys like Dario and Frank are shooting versus the shots Bertans is getting up. It's mainly catch-and-shoot, but far more mobility and variance than "spot up shooter" implies. Reggie...

Suns trade ideas for the fall of 2020

Title is a joke, of course, but this video illustrates my point well.

Suns trade ideas for the fall of 2020

Not my criteria for finding a fit. :) I would suggest anyone who considers Bertans to be a "spot up shooter" to watch the guy play. He's magical. Not a guy who stands by the three point line waiting to catch. He reminds me more of top shooting guards the way he gets his shots off. Obviously, he...

Suns trade ideas for the fall of 2020

I know this wasn't directed toward me, and I am not saying all of these options are light years better than Saric... But I see four interesting PF free agency options: 1. Christian Wood (he would be great, but I bet he stays in Detroit) 2. Davis Bertans (I worry about the defense, but his...

Suns need to be more athletic in 2021

This is an excellent point. Also, it's not like there were a ton of great options drafted after Jerome. Keldon Johnson looks solid; Bol Bol and Kevin Porter have upside; Eric Paschall played well. That said, most players picked 24 or later have been pretty underwhelming, which is to be expected...

Lions at Cardinals gameday thread 9-27-20

"Described as a 'free spirit' by coach Kliff Kingsbury, Benjamin has made a strong initial impression in camp. "He has a knack for finding the hole, there's no doubt," Kingsbury said. "He definitely has a feel for the run game, and that's exciting to see where he can take this thing. He has to...

    2020 Draft

I'm not 100% sold on Haliburton as a PGOF...but I think he'd be a great fit right away and could make a real impact next year. Smart player who could work well with Booker and with Rubio imo.

Who would you draft at #10 if...

I think Achiuwa and Williiams may be the best fits out of anyone for the Suns, including higher ranked players. Achiuwa was seen as more of a 3 coming into college as a top recruit, but ended up playing a lot of 5 after Wiseman got suspended. He's 6'9 225 and has upside as a finisher...

What player do you most hope slides to #10

I voted for Hayes and Okwungu because I think they have the best long-term upside for the Suns. With a core of Booker, Bridges and Ayton, the biggest impact in 2-3 years would be a starting point guard to pair with Booker or a power forward to pair with Ayton. I don't think there is a player...

    2020 Draft

Will that leave us with enough assets to acquire all the Balls? Send Bridges, both Cams and Rubio to get Lonzo, then renounce Dario's rights and dump Oubre in a trade to create cap space for LiAngelo. Hopefully that's enough to get it done. Ball Ball Ball Who Cares Baynes That's a dynasty...

Suns @ Clippers Tuesday game thread 8-4-20 (season restart)

It may be Memphis the Suns are chasing. They are only 1.5 up on Portland, have lost all of their games in the bubble so far, and just lost Jaren Jackson for the season.
