    I think it is close. The value he got by dumping that mammoth contract in David Johnson can't be overlooked. Regarding just the play on the field though, I agree with you.

    Who's claiming this team is really good? 4-4 probably should be considered average. To dismiss one score games out of hand seems wildly controversial. Since 2000, over half of the games played were one won by one score or less. Being good at this seems pretty important to me...

    I guess you don't put any stock in actual wins either... There are a whole lot of factors, and a whole lot of skills that come into play when the games are close.

    Hands to the face is an offensive blocker penalty, not a defensive one. Either it is a face mask, or a good stiff arm if you are on defense. Hard to see if he grabbed there.

    You can. Typically if you see multiple people shifting when a player is in motion, most likely they are playing some sort of zone defense. If a single player moves along with, they are in man to man. There are obviously nuisances if they are playing some sort of man-zone hybrid for example...

    Yep... and if you want to use motion, you have to have that perfect slot player. Then you have to know how to use him. I don't think we have that on our roster to use motion like the Rams or Dolphins do.
