Thrilled with the extensions to BB, JC and Fro. It's typical Cardinals luck that some of our best players and leaders are at "non impact " positions.
Thing is JC makes the O go.
BB has made himself an impact player, sans Picks and PD.
Fro struggles at times with pass pro but may be the best pulling OC in the NFL and is never out hustled by anyone else.
Now let's get a top notch pass rusher and run stopper on the Dline and the D will be top ten in the NFL.

Please. They are not cutting Thompson to create cap space. As if we are going to be such huge spenders in free agency we will need a paltry few million to sign draft picks.
They will be in an awkward position if they want Rabbit to start over Thompson. Thompson will not want to play backup, and his salary would make no sense as a backup. Cutting Thompson so that he can catch on as a starter with another team might be the respectful thing to do and benefit both sides.

Had Rabbit not shown so much promise, I agree it would make no sense for the Cardinals to cut Thompson. But you'd hate for Rabbit's development to be stunted by being stuck behind Thompson for another year, while out-performing him when he gets his chances.

They might cut Thompson. Who knows? But it won't be because of cap savings. That was my point.

In this situation, you're one hammy twinge away from Andrew Chachare starting at safety. These guys are professionals; let Thompson fight to keep his job.

I’d argue center is a really important position, especially in our run scheme, and he’s been the best one in my 20+ years of watching cards.

The half healthy season we saw from Rodney Hudson was the best C play we had in my 25+ years as a fan.

Froholdt is above average without being great. But you HAVE to love his style of play.
