    It really doesn't have to be better. KD is a year older, and likely to have a major injury. The team in terms of playing time will be 85% the same as last year. The West has only gotten tougher. Houston and San Antonio are going to be real threats along with all the same teams from last year.

    Do you not realize the same top 7 players are back and likely to get 90 percent of the minutes? It’s going to be basically the same team that pissed everyone off. Expecting something different is just coping. Also KD was basically injury free, don’t expect that again.

    The suns are not contending now, they will be lucky to make the playoffs. Oso is 100% not a power forward, he is clearly a center since he can't shoot outside of 5 feet.

    Yes Boston has 4 to 5 guys that can handle the ball and start the offense at all times. That is modern basketball. No one guy is responsible for running the offense. That is what I mean 85-90% don't have a point guard.

    Well needless to say, I don't agree. 85-90% of the teams in the NBA don't have a PG - including Boston the champs. That is not a necessity.

    It's called young players elevating their games wheras we are relying on old players to not regress. I absolutely see New Orleans jumping us, Memphis I'm not sure but it is certainly possible.

    Call me crazy but I have more faith in Bol Bol raising his game than Beal. Neither is likely to happen, but I like the chances for Bol much better.

    Bull. Lee is a horrific defender far worse than Gordon who isn’t good. Gordon also had the ability to create his own shot, lee has none. He has one skill wide open 3 point shooting, he is bad at everything else.

    Gordon is a lot bigger loss than anyone is admiting. We don’t have anyone to floor space like him, and make the occasional roll to the rim. Even if all the rookies work out perfectly(they won’t) we still can’t compete in the west.
