    I say that whoever can master the line calls (protections / identify Mike), shotgun snap consistently, and not get beat by speed & power on a regular basis should win the job. Pulling / athleticism may be one of the more under-rated aspects; however that depends on Kugler’s blocking scheme...

    I’m hopeful McClain can fill the role of 2nd string NT/DT behind Corey Peters and spot depth at DE. Should only see the field for 25% of the snaps. Good signing! Interesting however that we wanted this guy over someone like Domato Peko who graded well with PFF and also played for Joseph.

    The question is... If Murray, Bosa, QWill were 1-3 and Murphy #5, who was #4? My guess is either Devin White or Ed Oliver. Don’t see anyone else besides possibly Hockenson or Hollywood Brown in Rd 1 that would have been ranked that high.
