NBA Finals: LAKERS vs CELTICS (non-bias version 1.0)

Fisher played in the 4th like he was seriously on some drug, from the body language and all. Plus, Allen couldn't hit anything. If it comes back to average on both account, I still see Celtics win this series. Oh, did I say Gasol was really good at flopping. He again got a crucial foul call...

Amare to opt out if suns dont give MAX

Management will make the best decision here. If they believe the team with one year more maturation and a little roster twist regarding the bench, I predict they'd do whatever to keep Amare. Otherwise, just start rebuilding by sending off Nash. At least, jRich has gotten some very good trade...

NBA Finals: LAKERS vs CELTICS (non-bias version 1.0)

That reminds of KJ on MJ for stretches, with excellent results. And Rondo stole the ball from Kobe dribbling a couple of times in crunch time! :)

    Offseason Wish List

I like the idea of Garcia replacing LB a lot. Kings might have strong incentive to dump the long contract for a short one with comparable if not even more fitting skill sets. I don't believe they'd move either of Landry or Thompson even they draft Cousins. Thompson has a career bench big all...

    Ray Allen...

Nash should be shooting 3s the way Ray Allen did this game. We just need to save his legs for the game 2 of an NBA finals. ;) And it's unlikely Allen goes anywhere else. Only contenders may be willing to pay big bucks for his service for 1-2 years, but none of them have the cap room to sign...

NBA Finals: LAKERS vs CELTICS (non-bias version 1.0)

Were you implying that if Nash had Rondo's speed and stamina, we'd have been fine with his overdribbling? I'd agree here.;)

Playoffs 2010: Western Conf Finals, Game 6 – Lakers At Suns Game Thread

I remember Cebalos as an excellent rebounder but an atrocious defender. And despite low rebounding numbers, you can't say Robin Lopez is a bad defender. Or maybe it's just my imagination?

NBA Finals: LAKERS vs CELTICS (non-bias version 1.0)

As I predicted, once you cut off the Kobe-Gasol lifeline for the Lakers by solid defense, their offense is average at best with very good but not good enough individual one-on-one games by Kobe, Gasol and partially Bynum. And they were covered one-on-one without much help defense. Bynum played...

NBA Finals: LAKERS vs CELTICS (non-bias version 1.0)

No kidding, and finally see players like Fisher, Artest and Odom who always torch us be put into their rightful place of scrubs. :D

NBA Finals: LAKERS vs CELTICS (non-bias version 1.0)

KG is the prime example of why you don't give someone the max contract: They won't be able to earn it the last couple years of that contract. Right? ;)

Playoffs 2010: Western Conf Finals, Game 6 – Lakers At Suns Game Thread

Frye gave his effort on defense, aside from the first two games in WCF where his confidence was shot that affected his defense too. He appeared more important as we used a lot of zone with him as the anchor and Amare on the perimeter. However, we did miss the strength a healthy Lopez brought to...

TWolves, Warriors talk trade for Anthony Randolph

I will give you the choices: A) Amare so that Suns have say 10% chance of winning the title each of the next two years with Nash, with almost sure WCF appearance or B) Randolph and Suns starting to suck while rebuilding right away, barely playoff team with one-and-done at most. I for one am...

TWolves, Warriors talk trade for Anthony Randolph

Thanks for the information, that's not just speculation on stats numbers. :D As I said, Suns fans too easy get high on athletic bigs. Most if not all of the pro-Randolph guys here have been Wilcox, Tyrus Thomas proponents over the years. They all share the label of potentially better choice...

TWolves, Warriors talk trade for Anthony Randolph

If you care about stats so much, why don't we just get Marion back who'd get all star stats next to Nash better than Randolph. Curry has a bright future, but he is to replace Nash not to play next to Nash anyway, unless you really wanted the SSOL of DA's era with no defense again. So, even your...

And people on this board take Amare's hands for granted. Think of Nash-KG pairing up and the latter fumbles all the highlight weel passes. ;)

Listening to the Media Coverage after Game1...

Sorry to raise objection, but you have to be good to be lucky. Lakers were good enough to be that lucky with that Artest play. And a lucky play it was.

Playoffs 2010: Western Conf Finals, Game 6 – Lakers At Suns Game Thread

His confidence problem got into his defense as evidenced in the incredible "giving up on blowed Fisher fast break layup miss and get rebound-dunked by Odom" incident. We played our zone primarily because of him, it worked with him as the anchor. And as someone said, for zone to work, everybody...

Suns offer Amare maximum contract extension worth an estimated $110 million

Well, if it's 110mil for 6 years, it'd looks like Duncan kind of deal. I believe after all past histories of shopping Amare around, Amare stays for the same money if he considers the team and his own professional outlook here better than anywhere else. And I doubt a little more money would...

Playoffs 2010: Western Conf Finals, Game 6 – Lakers At Suns Game Thread

I don't really know which historical fact you were referring to. I remember we all supported Sarver, for not giving JJ that 50/5 deal. And for most of the bad deals like Marion and Diaw, I remembered we were also OK with the mgt. As to Amare not half the player, the team played much better...

    Amare Ought to be Embarassed

Actually, the opposite is true, guys without ego and hunger for money won't win you championships. Wait, is there anybody fitting your role model description in the entire NBA? :D

    Possible Replacement for Amare?

One and done, would be what Suns become with Bynum and Odom replacing Amare. None of these two attracts defensive attention the way Amare does, which in turn makes the aging Nash even less effective.

NBA Finals: LAKERS vs CELTICS (non-bias version 1.0)

here is KG fumbling the ball twice in a row under the basket all by himself, in crunch time, on a super max contract! ;)

NBA Finals: LAKERS vs CELTICS (non-bias version 1.0)

I'd root for Celtics just on Danny Ainge factor alone. Aside from Kidd and partially Dyce, I don't hate any of those former Suns and would still root for Marbury, Penny, Googs, Shaq. ;) Anyway, Celtics in 6 objectively! Lakers' offense will not work well against Celtics defense. Only Suns...

    Possible Replacement for Amare?

Why would Amare consent to such a deal? He will get the same money with a much better chance at winning with Miami, Nets, or even Bulls. Lakers would be stupid not to do it and even add 2 1st rounders to make it work. For all I know, Kobe creates much more space for teammates than Nash does...
