    Ya' think that attitude is limited to rooting for sports teams? For their sake I hope it is. I have been a Chicago/St.L/Phoenix/Arizona fan, and if I had to drag that 'tude around for all those years I would have been on the other side of the rainbow bridge!

    No problem in trading the pick, but it does sound a little light to me. I would feel better about it with a second round pick in 24 instead of a third. I'll like everyone else will sit tight and get ready to complain about something tomorrow evening..:)

    In a way, the team is in a similar, not the same but similar situation as the Bears are. The upcoming season is going to determine whether the current QB's are the long term answer. If one wants to take that side of the argument for the Cardinals, then the investment in personnel should learn...

    Sadly I don't believe MB has the stomach to go for Carter, who IMO is the most ready to plug and play in the draft. Darnell is a favorite too, issue is not great blocker in run game, far better pass blocker.

    "Call me Vince L" A dynamic run blocking offensive line, a solid defense will keep you in more games that you might imagine. Not necessarily sexy football, but neither was watching games that Bob Gibson won when his ERA for the year was about 1.12.....all he did was win.

    He is a nice player, but I agree Harry, not a top 5 pick. The other possibility but also not a top 5 who has a good chance of turning out pretty decent is the kid from TN.

    If I wore the dark suit and signed the checks, after I was satisfied that I accumulated enough on both lines in the draft, and he was available in round 3/4 I go for him. TN plays a pro offense which is a big plus. That's why we can have fun with this banter without getting too serious!

    You are sort of right as it guarantees them their choice of QB's available at that time keeping other teams from getting the pick from the Cards. No reason for Monti to rush into anything until post time!
