    Shaq for MVP!

I read them. Even the one about his leaving the Bulls. hahaha Maybe you should have read that one dufus as it has nothing to do with our discussion. I know what happened. You may want to believe that he walked away... but if you read the meat of the reply by Jeanie, the President of the Lakers...

    Shaq for MVP!

There is no sense in going all over this again and again and again. The bottom line is as you said...they all had a part. The facts are that Jim Buss went to Jerry and wanted PJ out of the coaching position. PJ and Jerry met and they agreed that PJ would not return as coach. He DID NOT walk...

    Shaq for MVP!

Because some people sensitive over a comment about Shaq'a history of whining thought for some reason bringing the Kobe and Shaq fued was relevant. I have no clue why.

    Shaq for MVP!

You are really stretching now. Fired, relieved from his coaching positon, not retatined as coach, WHATEVER you want to call it. PJ was NOT happy about it and it took him totally by surprise. No matter what other position he was later offered, he was most definetly let go as the coach ie. FIRED...

    Shaq for MVP!

hehehehe Classic! Well, I'll take what I was told personally which is supported by Jerry's, Kobe's, and Shaq's revisionist comments when directly aslked over that of of PJ's comments in a book which "at the time" was released after his firing. Yeah, that's gotta be an objective "at the time"...

    Shaq for MVP!

Well, even your beloved Shaqtus agreed and said so... Go figure!:D Kobe tells the LA Times: "Their trying to put this Shaq stuff on me is [wrong]," he told The Times. "Jerry Buss told me he didn't want to pay Shaq $30 million a year. I, not once — not once — went to them and said, 'Trade...

Ohhhh I am so hurt!!! Cheesy insulted me. Whatever shall I do now? Let me think if I care for your validation.... hmmmmmmmmm

    Shaq for MVP!

Well, seeing as how I personally heard it out of the mouth of Dr. Buss I'll take his word for it over yours. Shaq sealed his fate in the preseason as he ran down the court in front of the media screaming "pay me the money". Had he agreed to the amount he settled for with Miami, instead of the...

    Shaq for MVP!

Never said that. I simply said the he was not the dominant factor. It was very obvious that Shaq had a less than stellar season and playoffs and Wade took them to the promised land on his shoulders. Not to mention the Mav's folding, but that's another story. Much the same way eveyone says Shaq...

    Shaq for MVP!

correction... Lakers = 0 Heat = 1... And we know who lead them to the one...and it most definetly was not Shaq. Are you really bringing up the adultry thing AGAIN? Geeeeez. That's a long list in the NBA my friend. Kobe was one small piece in breaking up the team. His part was he was tired of...

    Shaq for MVP!

I called the Cavs comming out of the east week one. The Celts aren't deep enough this year. Their bench is suspect. As for the conspiricy BS. I will leave that to you Suns fans as you have become adept at screaming it. If I actaully believed the games were rigged and Stern had all the control...

    Shaq for MVP!

Hmmmmmmmmmm We are 29-6 and arguably the best team in the west and favorites to win the title without him. Your team is 21-13 and a half game from being out of the playoffs with him. Granted, he has had a great first half of the season, but lets see how that holds up. Now that he's your MVP...

    Shaq for MVP!

I totally agree. I personally think a mid level team can and should be able to have a player in the MVP consideration. It just doesnt happen that way, right or wrong. It is all so subjective and an endless discussion that will never be resolved.

    Shaq for MVP!

Sure! No problem... let me see... I'll choose the window I can "eye the prize" through. I guess I'll jump through the LARGE Laker one on my left as opposed to the teeny weeny Suns one on the right. :D

And even if your intrepretation was "THE" interpretation... you fail. Does not the quality of the players that surroud you have an effect. I don't care how much you try to elevate your teamates beyond their capabilities, if they don't produce, there is nothing you can do. Kobe has proven the...

    Shaq for MVP!

hahahaha:D Let me preface this by saying, Shaq is having an outstanding year! Very surprising to me but I admit he has done a tremendous job. So for all you guys who know i don't like him the following comment has nothing to do with my view as him as a person. The season is not even half...

Shaq - Kobe - Phil Jackson reunion in Phoenix?

Again, I fail to see your point on the difference. My comments were in a direct reply to the post that implied I wasn't cheering for my Lakers when we won our titles because I do not like Shaq. I was cheering. Just as you would your team even though you dont like certain players on it. The...

Shaq - Kobe - Phil Jackson reunion in Phoenix?

I cheered very loudly for our team. Always do. That I do not like a player has nothing to do with my being a fan of the team. If that was the case none of you would have cheered for the Suns ever with all the basing I have read in these threads about your coaches and players. I suppose with all...

    Jason Richardson Accused Of DUI

Regardless of the laws, inforcement of them, and inaccuracy of the equiptment, many people get behind the wheel drunk and roll the dice with the attitude of "it wont happen to me". Many comments in this thread have even pointed towards doing so. Its no so difficult to designate a driver or...

Shaq - Kobe - Phil Jackson reunion in Phoenix?

How Bizarre! Was surfing around today and came across this. Some comments that make points of both sides of the discussion. Go figure.... A lot's happened since they played their last game together, way back on June 15, 2004. Since that Finals loss to the Pistons when they were Lakers...

    Jason Richardson Accused Of DUI

Glad you you don't live around me. Are you actually trying to say you cannot go to sports bars and drink responsibly and keep you consumption below DUI levels? Let's hope it doesn't one day come back to bite you or worse yet, someone you endanger. :bang:

    Jason Richardson Accused Of DUI

To admit you have made a mistake and no longer do is one thing. You have obviously matured and were fortunate not to screw up along the way. To say you have done it and others have as well and imply it's common comes off as if it's no big deal. It is. .11 is more than 2 beers in less than an hour.

    Jason Richardson Accused Of DUI

And if you do...and make a mistake and get pulled over it's going to cost you. If you do and get in a accident where someone is injured or killed, it's really going to cost you. Because you roll the dice and don't get caught doesn't at all change the legality of it. When i was a kid you could...
