    Not only did they almost blow a 21-point first half lead, they almost did it in spectacular fashion. Let that be a lesson to the coaching staff. If you can't do a kneel down to run out the clock you need to keep playing to win.

    I'd like to see McCarthy say, and although I don't think Thomas is ever going to be much of a hitter his defense is nice to have, at least until Jones is ready. And they can't get Montgomery out of here soon enough for me.
