    What are you watching?

A&E Biography on the WWE wrestlers. Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, and now Mick Foley. The Hart and Michaels bios need to be watched back-to-back. So good. So sad. So many dead superstars that should still be with us.

    Friends: The Reunion (HBO Max)

Of all 6, Lisa Kudrow seems to have aged the most gracefully. If she had work done, it isn’t as obvious as the others. Matthew Perry got Ross’ teeth-whitener I guess. LeBlanc aged the most naturally. Or maybe he aged about how I see myself aging. Lol

Star Wars: The Bad Batch (Disney+)

I was never hatefully anti the prequels. But the stories in the animated shows improve that era considerably, mostly because they tell better stories. I also like the way they pace the season. They would spent 3 to 4 episodes in a row following mini storylines. Then those mini-arcs would...

Star Wars: The Bad Batch (Disney+)

I Finally started watching the Clone Wars series. Finish that snd started Rebels. All in anticipation of watching the Bad Batch. Wow. These cartoons are not just for kids. These are some of the most amazing Star Wars stories ever! And it makes the movies, Especially the prequel’s, so much more...

    Mortal Kombat

Very true. The final fight (rematch) is good too. But be the rest is... A missed opportunity.

    Mortal Kombat

It was decent. A great concept to start a franchise, but not so good if is a stand-alone movie. I kinda enjoyed the Goro fight too. But Sub Zero and Scorpion are the real stars. Solid B movie. Hope we get more in the series.

MCU: The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (Disney+)

The series was about the two titular characters Leaving behind their old personas. By the end of this one takes up a new mantle. But the other seemingly having escaped his past as well, still gets referred to as his old code name.

MCU: The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (Disney+)

This was the best Marvel TV episode they’ve ever made in any series, IMO. The ending was chill-inducing.

    I Miss Spring 2020

The Circle, Too Hot to Handle, Tiger King, anxiously awaiting the Trolls 2 release, the surprise drop of Frozen 2 on Disney+. Disney sing-alongs. We’re gonna look back at the spring of 2020 as one of the most optimistic times and TV. Not knowing how long the pandemic would last, I feel like...

    DCU: Zach Snyder’s Justice League

But is it how AT&T works? Seems like they may have a different opinion after the supposed success of this film? Overrule Warner?

    The Last Blockbuster (documentary)

This was a nice little doc.

    Godzilla vs. Kong (2021)

Meh. Predictable plot. Horrible human characters. CGI destruction. It. Was. Awesome!

    DCU: Zach Snyder’s Justice League

Snyder has now adapted Watchmen Man of Steel BvS Justice League I’d say his grasp of DC material is better more times than not. May not be commercial, but it is a good adaptation. Let. The. Man. Work. Figure out the commercial aspect later!

    DCU: Zach Snyder’s Justice League

Yes. Ares. The god Diana killed in her first solo movie.

    DCU: Zach Snyder’s Justice League

Didn’t think feel that long watching it more like a limited series. I was left wanting to see more, but I took it in in 60-90 minute increments.

    DCU: Zach Snyder’s Justice League

I was like, “So Superman was effectively the deterrent for the Motherboxes waking...” but... What about the 5,000 years before he arrived on Earth? The Darkseid axe amnesia thing could be forgivable with the passage of time. We forget things within a generation. But it WAS SAME CAST OF...

    DCU: Zach Snyder’s Justice League

This was a great long-form story. Truly epic and beautifully shot. Worth the time investment for sure!

    DCU: Zach Snyder’s Justice League

If Snyder wasn’t obsessed with slow-mo, this version could have been released as a 2.5 hour theatrical cut. Lol

    DCU: Zach Snyder’s Justice League

Through Part 4. It is so really good. It can’t exist in a theatre, but it is really good!

    DCU: Zach Snyder’s Justice League

I’m through Part 2. The Age of Heroes segment was legitimately worth the wait.

MCU: The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (Disney+)

Kinda dreading this one. I feel we will be endlessly frustrated by the stupidity and/or outright nonsensical decisions of the government officials in this one. A “fight the system” series, where the best downs to get heroes come early and often from the bureaucratic machine. But also super...
