I'm AWESOME!
No you're not dude, don't lie.
I'm AWESOME!
The bad thing is if this defense keeps getting better, Horton will be a HC somewhere. I know it's how it works & I wouldn't at all be suprised if his name comes up this year for a gig. Well spoken, smart, successful (thus far), comes from winning programs & a minority. He's outta here after next year at the latest given more success.
Fire Whiz and promote Horton.
I love this defense but they are making it hard to decide which jersey I'm getting next.
If Bradley could somehow "get it", it would be great for the defense. The concerning thing to me is that Harrison and Polamalu were rookies when struggling to pick up the defense and Bradley has been around awhile. I hated the Bradley signing but that doesn't mean I don't want him to play well. I think if Bradley makes an impact it will be at Haggans spot. If he could take over and play at a decent level, it would be uge for the defense. They would only need to get a SILB to have a pretty good, young LB corp. Unfortunately, another thing that is huge red flag to me is they have tried him at both ILB and OLB positions along with trying him as a pass rushing DE and he hasn't been very good at any of them and still struggles to see the field.Good read.
Tho since it is on the official website I would be cautiously optomistic about the situation.
It does make me feel better about Stewart Bradley and his struggle to get on the field. He has been an extremely frustrating situation. I know many have this guy tagged as a bust, and a horrible signing by the Cardinals. That he should have never been brought in, etc., etc.
Even though I have heavily leaning towards having the same opinion, that he is a bust, there is still that voice telling me he can be good for us, and I mean REALLY good for us.
If Bradley's "light switch turns on" and he can play at the level his potential dictates from his past. The Cardinals go from having 1 good linebacker to having 3 1/2 good linebackers.
Imagine that, our linebackers being a force. What next ? We stop a screen pass ?
Which defense? The one from the beginning of the year or the "new" system they used when they started to win?
