We are also leading the league in yardage differential. Need to outgain them by 194 to beat new England. Not a bad stat for a .500 team. Also need to hold them to 60 yards to be the top ranked defense. This one is unlikely but with some more sacks, who knows.

You mean sub 500 team, unfortunately.

Impressive, but in the games that mattered the most, there were not many big 4th quarter sacks like there were last year.

Agreed, timing of sacks wasnt the best. They just seemed to have a couple huge sack games like today. Obviously a great year for the Dline and pretty amazing given that we have been yurning for a pass rushing OLB for years...

Cool stat to own regardless of scenario

Taking nothing away from the pass rush but the Rams' OL was an atrocity. Goff is getting it worse than David Carr in Houston.

Junk 12.5 sacks
CJ 11 sacks
CC 8 sacks
Minter 3.5 sacks
Okafor 3.5 sacks

I may have missed someone but that's a pretty large drop off from CC to Minter & Okafor.

A better blitzing ILB is needed.

As many posters predicted CC's sack total did increase because we had some pretty good outside pass rushers.

The Cardinals are the number one sack team in the NFL. We have the best pass rush, and if we keep Campbell and Jones, we have a lot to be grateful about... and that whole we played a team with a sub-par line and it does not mean much is total crap man, the other teams play crappy OLs too and we are still number one :)

I fully agree but I have to confess I still think sometimes that DWashout would take this D to a different level.

Still shows you can have an elite pass rush yet get exposed if your corners are trash. Bethel had a nice finish to the season and I'm interested to see what Miller can bring.

We HAVE to keep both Calais & Chandler. We can't let either walk.

D, my thoughts exactly. 93 was a man possessed down the stretch, and Chandler has been great all year. Markus Golden has just been a joy to watch. If Keim and BA are as concerned with the pass rush as they were last year, then it's a no brainer. CC has EARNED this! I shudder to think how deadly this defense can be with a fully healthy roster.
