This morning my dad went up to Heaven, 64 years young.

Though it was much too soon, I know he was satisfied with what he achieved in life, and he had made peace with the situation.

I went through this 17 years a go, it seems like a part of u is gone
he left this world but he will be always next to u, the memories are there with u and it will give the extra motivation and the strenght to make him proud of you

I am SO sorry for your loss.

I went through this with my father-in-law 6 years ago (I was closer to him than my dad). You'll always miss him, but you'll get through it.

My dad passed 10 years ago and yes it hurt but now I just reminisce about all the good times.

It takes time but it will get better.
