Ouch. We can say that our bench is deeper, but unfortunately our starters were outplayed. Anyone watch the game in person?

Golden State 108, Phoenix 96

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) -- Baron Davis had 17 points, 11 assists, six rebounds and three steals, and Mike Dunleavy scored 30 points, leading the Golden State Warriors to a 108-96 exhibition victory over the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night.
Dunleavy scored 16 points in the first quarter and finished 10-for-14 from the field and made all five of his free throws. Jason Richardson added 18 points and five rebounds for the Warriors.
Shawn Marion had 20 points, 11 rebounds and two blocked shots and Steve Nash had 10 assists for the Suns, who split their four games with the Warriors last season. This game could be a bit of a gauge for Golden State considering Phoenix lost to NBA champion San Antonio in the Western Conference finals last season.
The Warriors are optimistic of finally ending the league's longest playoff drought at 11 years. They believe that with Davis leading the way all season and having most of their roster returning from a squad that showed promise late last season, they will be able to contend for a playoff spot in the challenging Western Conference. Golden State hasn't been to the postseason since 1994.
Phoenix rallied from a 19-point first-half deficit and used a late 25-2 run for a 53-49 halftime lead. Then the Warriors went on a 20-4 spurt in the third quarter to take control.
After dealing for Davis at the trading deadline last February, Golden State went 18-10, beat eight playoff teams and won 14 of its final 18 games. And the Oakland Arena was rocking again.
While the Warriors are still figuring out their timing, Davis provided a glimpse of the high-energy style Golden State hopes to play: He made a between-the-legs pass to Zarko Cabarkapa for a layin midway through the second quarter that drew gasps from a franchise-record exhibition crowd of 17,323. Later, Davis hit Dunleavy with a snazzy pass for an easy hoop.
Backup Golden State point guard Derek Fisher dislocated his right middle finger with 11:25 left in the second quarter and did not return.

Out of Q, JJ and Hunter, i think Hunter might almost be the guy we missed now Amare's out. I think he could muster up more interior offense then (the severly overrated duo) of KT and Grant compined.

LOL

My prediction still stands. The Warriors will be the surprise team of the West and will be seeded 4-6 come playoff fine.

one teammate even compared him to Olajuwon with a less developed offensive game at this point. 7 footer who can jump out of the gym and block shots....all of a sudden that Seattle front line of Collison, Evans, a defensive gem in Petro and Fortson and a project in Swift, they have a nice combo of athleticism and size, rebounding and defense at the 4 and 5 Not too much scoring yet though so im not too worried.
however, thats not even including 6-10 Radmonovic and some times PF Rashard Lewis....depending on the new coach, the might be better than i previously thought....
