It's been an amazing season. I thought the absolute ceiling on this team was 9 wins, and they smashed through that. Really remarkable work.

It helps that the entire AFC South stunk, and the bottom fell out of the Atlanta Falcons. But you don't luck up and win 10 games.

The real challenge is transferring that work to next season--if we don't make the playoffs. Look to the Colts and Redskins if you want a lesson about how to fall short of lofty preseason expectations.

Colts have been crushed offensively by injuries and still won their division and have beaten the Seahawks, Broncos, Chiefs and 49ers this season. They may not be Super Bowl contenders this year with those injuries, but they have followed up very well IMO. Redskins, Falcons and Texans should be the example of what to avoid. Continue to improve the roster while keeping consistancy where you can, and don't ever forget the importance of the QB position.
