If you look at guys like Hurts and Herbert with their new schemes they also are not putting up eye-popping numbers. The plan is not for Kyler to be throwing it 35-40 times a game like they were for Kliff so not expecting those sorts of performances anymore.

But the bonehead interceptions are a killer. Just can’t have them in today’s NFL. Punt the ball and make them go 70 yards.
That's the thing, MTSC. My problem with Murray is not so much what numbers he is putting up, but the bad decisions that he keeps taking. Herbert and Hurts don't do that nearly as much, and that makes me trust them more.

When you throw interceptions that I myself would throw, that's a problem. I don't know that I'm capable of throwing the pick six to Coby Bryant, but I'm certainly (non) athletic enough to throw the one he had erased last week, and the one he heaved up against the Rams in the playoffs.

Herbert is the best in the NFL here, Hurts is 8th and Kyler is 14th, but below league average, which is good in this case.

And wow, Anthony Richardson is bad!

Yes, that is absolutely a positive thing, but as many have pointed out in the thread, it is not only if he throws interceptions, but how and when he does it. That horrible decisions continue to be catastrophic.

By the way, PDX, I have to say that I find your image absoultely terrifying.:p

Herbert's INT Last night in the end zone was pretty bad when they wet down 21-10.

That's my reverse jinx voodoo doll!
