It's easy to make a comeback when you are tossing up 6.5 runs a game. They are averaging 5.3 runs a game for the season but they have blown that out after the All Star break.

The Yankees with their HR crazy lineup is the next highest in RS and that is 32 below the Dbacks. There is no 50 HR hitter on the Dbacks and with Marte hurt there won't be a 40 HR hitter.

It gets even wilder when you really deep dive it. Right now they have 4 hitters with 20 or more HRs and 2 of them have been on the DL.

Reasonably you can say that Ketel Marte hasn't played since August 10th so 16 days and they have averaged 6.84 runs missing their two best hitters.

Gaberial Moreno is #8 in HRs on the team and he has played just 86 games.

Alexander, Del Castillo, Perdomo, Pavin Smith, and Alek Thomas are all tied for #11 on the team in HRs with 3.

In the 13 games without Marte, Walker, and Moreno they have had just 2 games with 3 runs or less and have 5 games with 9 runs or more. Taco Bell picked a good year to stop giving away free tacos every time they score 6 runs.

Adding to the bizarre nature of this season, the Dbacks don't have a hitter in the top 24 of the league in hits. Marte is at 25th and Gurriel is at 29th. Josh Bell, where 90% of his hits didn't come with the Dbacks, is next on the list in 61st! Geno is 79th and Corbin is 90th!

Insanity!
