I've been a USC fan all my life which already makes me unpopular here , but I'd like to contribute to some Leinart dialogue here from time to time as I have grown up in the same area as he and am a huge fan of his...

I'm still bleeding silver&Black however and that won't change(damn strike 2)...I would however since i'm already here , like some feedback on Andrew Walter , whom I beleive is the future of my beloved Raiders...

That and I also Just wanted an explanation of the following pic thats all...

I'm honestly not here to start an argument , just a rational conversation...

Thx in advanced!

PS GL with Matt and Lutui Cards fans! 2 SOLID picks IMO!!!

Heres the animated pic

It's likely Bell did flop on that play since he claims he has been getting hit the whole series. Bell is a role player guarding a superstar. To get any sort of call, he is going to have to exaggerate the contact, especially with how the Suns feel the calls have gone against them.

Kobe did swing his elbow though up. It's kind of amazing that Bell has the mental capability to react to a swung elbow with such a believable flop. Perhaps he belongs on the Lakers so he can be in Hollywood. :D Actually the last thing I would want is Bell on the Lakers. He is our Ginobilli, a player who every other team will despise but your own.

Until the clothesline, I had likened Bell to Reggie Miller. Watching him defend Kobe reminded me exactly of Miller on Jordan. Jordan absolutely hated Miller and they both played each other physical and dirty.

As far as the clothesline itself, it has been discussed ad naseum here. Some people here loved it, I was not one of them.

first of all that pic is done at less then 24 frames second. we can see that rajas head whips back from being hit but not the elbow hitting the head. what is more likely that raja faked it or that phil jackson who stated that he desersed it and kobes reaction to it that raja really did get hit. personally after watching the first match up the season where raja got his lip split by kobe. the lakers cheap shotting suns players all over the place and getting away with it and knowing kobes history of being a cheap player (i.e. shaq/kobe, kobe/mike miller, poor girl/kobe the rapest) i think i will believe raja.

Say, didja hear that Kobe responded to a job ad for THERAPIST, saying he has experience for the job . . . but read the ad quickly, and thought it called for THE RAPIST. :)

Sure, it's a flop. What's the big deal? I'm not among the loonies calling for a Bryant suspension.

Great link!

Looks like Raja has a future career in Hollywood with that one.

In posting this picture, you realize that you are complicit in the elbow throw by Kobe...

Actually, I have that on DVR, and the the few frames before that shows Raja's face actually distort from the contact. He was hit much lower, and it was actually hidden behind Kobe's shoulder. He was already in the process of falling back, whether on purpose or not, but the time Kobe's elbow comes up.

I doubt Raja has the facial muscles to make his face distort like Jello on his own.

They just showed this clip on ESPN, in HD...and he hits Raja in the face with the part just above his elbow...and it was behind Kobe's head, but you could definitely see a ripple on his face...

Right after that is when everyone thinks he was faking it...because his head is going back and the elbow never hits him.

Come on people. Bell can flop with the best of them. He flopped earlier in the game when Bryant elbowed him in the chest. He definitely got hit in the face on this one. Chandler Mike explained it perfectly.

Alright people. He may have flopped on that elbow, however take a look earlier in game 5 when he actually was hit by Kobe's elbow. Kobe has done it all series long and has been doing it for years. If he has you on his back, when he does his spin move, he just his off elbow around and up. It's a school yard trick of hooking without hooking to get the advantage. If a defender, reletively the same height as Kobe, is on him, the defender tends to get the elbow in the face, neck, jaw, etc.

Are these kind of things really necessary? Really?

I was trying to say that that one play doesn't matter. Do I believe Bell has caught a few elbows from Kobe? Damn straight. Do I think Bell flops? Of course, the best defenders do. Look at Bowen, Ginobili, Divac, Reggie Miller, etc. I was trying to help curb, the Laker trolls from continuing on their whining about Bell catching an elbow from Kobe.

This just goes to show you how doctoring the film by removing frames can fool alot of people.

 Makes sense.

Nobody can be that good a faker / flopper to cause ripples go across his face...
