As the countdown to heading down Magnolia Lane continues, Golfweek is taking a look back at some Masters history through the years.

Today, it's time to examine the 2023 Masters and the significant milestones that occurred at Augusta National Golf Club that year.

Who won the 2023 Masters?​


Jon Rahm becomes the fourth Spaniard to win the Masters and slip on the green jacket with a four-stroke victory on the birthday of Masters legend and fellow Spaniard Seve Ballesteros. Phil Mickelson becomes the oldest player to record a top-five finish (T-2). The first-place prize surpassed $3 million for the first time. Rahm won on the 40th anniversary of Seve's second win.
