There are 2 playes yesterday that I though were very big plays in determining the outcome.

1. The play that led to Fred Jackson's 1 yard run was a blatant, and I mean blatant hold on Quentin Groves. Groves was tackled to the ground right in front of the ref and it was a big non-call because it looked like Groves was in postion to make the play. I don't mind if a call is missed but when it directly has a huge impact on the play, refs call it.

2. This play po's me even more and just killed a Cards momentum building/changing drive was when M'auli makes the nice play, gets up, and then spikes the ball. You could see how mad Whiz was. The Cards had a nice drive going and it would have been 2nd and 2. He gets the penalty, 2nd and 7, which is followed up by a false start, 2nd and 12...drive over. If the Cards go continue down the field and put points up, it is huge. Why would he get up and spike the ball? Pure ignorance.

Totally agree on point number 1. I saw it as well and was pissed. That was ridiculous.

Number 2 (and I'm probably alone on this) I'm not as upset about. Let's face it. The only reason Mauia is even on the roster is because of the injury to Sherman. That play was (I think) the only time Mauia has touched a football this season, it was blown up and he fought like hell to get those seven yards. He was excited and showed it.

I think the ref was ridiculous throwing the flag, players do alot worse all the time. I also thought CKW's reaction was ridiculous and should've been directed at the ref.

I've spent time with the guy at camp, he is a very quiet, laid-back guy. His reaction yesterday isn't typical of his demeanor.

All that said, I've posted MANY times on here what I think of him as a player, which is not much at all. I'm no fan of Mauia the player, but I do like him as a person. Truthfully, I was disgusted when I saw they brought him back, and I think the only reason they did was because there was a need and he knows the playbook. He'll be gone once Sherman is back.

there was a big Bills run where PP was blatantly held along the sidelines that really irked me yesterday

PI call against us on 3rd down in OT... Hard to see any interference at the game or on the replays up on the screen. The defender didn't turn back...he just put his hands up as the receiver tried to catch the pass. Didn't see him hit him with his hands or body. Even a couple of Bills fans said it looked like a bad call. One said "What you can get called for blocking the WR's sight of the pass?"

on Acho? YES! I knew there was another awful call I was forgetting. He didn't touch the WR. The bitch analysts were going on about how you have to play the ball, but if you make NO contact, it's irrelevant

I too appreciated and valued Mauia's passion and effort on the play. But he CAN NOT spike ball in that situation. No excuse for that IMO.

Also - in OT, directly in front of a ref, one of their players shoved one of our players down well after a play. No flag at all.

How about the play where Stevie Johnson swam over PP and pushed him aside to get open?

At least that shows us what a pest PP was for Johnson, whom the Bills' coaches thought would have a breakout game.

3) Roberts drop on a key third down.

4) Hyphens drop on the screen in OT

#1 and #2 outraged me though.. Could not believe there wasn't a hold called there... and that spike of the football killed momentum big time during a promising drive

Both of those throws were poor. A better QB would have hit Roberts in stride for a TD, and would not have thrown a limp noodle pass that was short and soft on the screen pass. True, both would have been caught some of the time, but they were more on Kolb in my opinion. That is my main beef with Kolb. He is too careful with his throws too often instead of zipping it in there and leading an open receiver. He likes the WR to pull up and stop in the open area too much. I just can't like Kolb for that very reason.

How about the bomb Kolb hit Roberts in stride that would've been a TD early on? I guess he's supposed to catch it too? Seriously...Kolb isn't the biggest reason this team is now 4-2 & prbably on the downward spiral...just isn't dude!

Really? It is well-known across the league that you cannot spike the ball after a play. Flat out idiotic. I like him (on twitter), seems like a nice dude. But sorry, I'm not gonna excuse him for this. Just a stupid decision. Make the catch, gain your yards and shut up. Killed the drive.

How about giving LSH the ball in OT when he'd done crap and Powell had been lighting it up?

X hasn't worked all game. Y has worked well all game. Let's do X in overtime. Miller need to go.

Spiking the ball after a play like that is plain and simple a delay of game penalty. It was called in last nights game. All players should know that. IT was just stupid on his part. I am not a Wiz fan by any means however he was right to get pissed off at him.

Kolb overthrew Roberts. He didn't hit him in stride. Fitz would have caught it though.

But we all know, well most of us do, the reason we've dropped two straight and have scored more than 20 points on offense only once this season. Russ Grimm.

I'll have to watch it again but I watched it about 3 times that day and I couldn't figure out why Roberts didn't catch it. It looked like the ball was right where his hands were but he just missed it. If it was a little out in front he should have dove, it wasn't one of those where running through was going to get the ball faster than a dive.

It just seemed to me Roberts misjudged where the ball was but I was watching on a 20 inch computer monitor and only had the replays they showed us so I couldn't slow it down or anything.

Weird play though you could tell from Kolb's reaction he was surprised Roberts didn't make the catch, as was I.

Not a perfect throw but one that I think most good NFL WR's make. But that's the way things were going when Kolb had guys open he missed, when he did get the ball there it was dropped.

I remember a long run that lead to score early in the game that our Corner was blatantly held by the receiver that allowed the runner to gain like 10 more yards.

Feely missing the game winner. The entire team executed flawlessly to get him that shot at the buzzer. Sure he made the impossible kick but that was a chip shot. He lost concentration, that's his job. He comes in for about 10 plays a game. Because of the miss the Bills had all the momentum going into OT.

I'm pretty sure he was expecting Galey to call a time out but that's no excuse. When you play 2 or 3 really meaningful plays a game you need to have your head straight for every one of them.

Heard on here yesterday that it turned out to be blocked, not sure if it was though. I also thought they should have used some of that extra time to get the ball to the center of the hash marks. Still should have made it but it would have been even easier from the middle of the field.
