First off, OH MY GOD WE ARE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL!!! As I've said in previous threads, this is my very first year being a Cards fan and I have rooted for them with all of my heart since the preseason. Whether it was in a sports bar, bowling alley, Chilli's restaurant or even on justintv.com (nirvanarush, whoever you are, thanks again!) I never missed a single play, through thick and thin, and last Sunday after we took down the Eagles I went absolutely nuts! In my mind, there is just no question that we are taking this thing to the house, and I CANNOT WAIT to walk around town all summer long rocking my Cardinals hat proudly (a hat which I had to special order online, btw, because I could not find a single store on the East coast that sold Cardinals gear). For all of you longtime Cards fans, you all definitely deserve this so much more than I do, but just know that when we host that trophy nine days from today, there will be a whole generation of us who will have only known the Arizona Cardinals for one thing: winning championships! LET'S GO CARDINALS!
Secondly, as of late and especially after last week's post-game debacle, in my opinion there has been a massive shift in the general sentiment on this board as to what should be done with Q. I don't want to get into the back and forth debate on this - all I want to contribute is that I think the best thing we can do as fans is just try to not add any fuel to the fire. Situations that with just a little bit of work can sometimes be sorted out are often damaged beyond repair because people are overly emotional, so let's keep ourselves focused on Sunday and just show love to every member of our soon-to-be Super Bowl championship team!
Honestly, the Pittsburgh Steelers do not stand a snowball's chance in H-E-Double Hockey Sticks against us next Sunday, and I cannot wait to cheer on our team! LET'S GO CARDINALS!
