I'd say we have the edge in wideouts, tackles and QB, RBs are about equal, and they have the edge in TE and their interior O-Line is about 1000 times better than ours.

D is a different story though, I would take their D over ours anyday.

Did someone tell that to Emmit Smith, Walter Payton, Barry Sanders, Eric Dickerson, or Tony Dorsett that when they had 2,200 carries? No, they continued to excell and moved thier way up the record lists. If you were going to ask, yes, Edge does belong on that list. He played in an extremely RB friendly offense in Indy and is very healthy. He has plenty of years left and productive ones at that. He is in his PRIME.

There is no way Edge belongs on that list. There are many running backs in the nfl RIGHT NOW that are better than Edge, let alone in history.

'Many'? Like who? Edge is one of the most complete backs in football. He can run, he can pass catch and he can block. He is on his way to the HOF.

LT
LJ
Portis
Alexander
Barber

In my opinion, those backs are better than edge. I'll give you the fact that edge is a great blocker. Don't get me wrong, he's great and all, but I think he's a tad overrated.

Overated? Edge has had many great seasons and you put LJ on that list? Please LJ can't hold Edge's jock at this point! Portis what has he done in his career so far? Alexander is a solid complete back and LT. Barber is good but he is no hall of famer yet. And out of all you listed maybe, maybe LT is better the rest not a chance! If edge is running behind any decent line he is better than your list at this point except maybe LT.

Not really. The only place you are more talented than us on offense is at wide receiver.

And it is three deep better than yours. Bryant Johnson might be your number one wideout. He's our number three. Scary, huh?

Yeah, I actually wanted us to trade for Bryant a few years ago. I dig him.

Your recievers are definatly awsome. They only have one problem. And thats getting the ball. If they do then they are awsome. If not then they are a nonfactor.

Well, starting Matt would lend one to believe that we will be doing the one thing our receivers absolutely excel at...short crossing routes and hitches underneath the defense. Boldin is the BEST short yardage over the middle WR in the league, by far but we haven't used him thusly. I think Boldin in particular is going to love having Matt back there.

I agree and in time I think it will develop into a high powered offense which will allow your running game to thrive. However I beleieve it will take time. Maybe not alot of time but more time then Matt has put in at this time. I think missing all that camp and not much playing time will not allow Matt to function as he is capable. And us with our backup in puts us in the same boat. I look at this game and think that the defense that performs the best will win this game. Lets just hope there are no serious injurys.
