The Vancouver win puts the Coyotes into a three way tie for 5th place in the conference, with a game in hand against the Ducks and Canucks. We can only hope that the Coyotes don't fizzle late in the season which was the case last year. Joakim Lindstrom has been a nice little steal for the Coyotes so far. He added another two goals against Luongo to give him 7 goals for the season in 17 games. Between Lindstrom, Ken Klee, and of course Bryzgalov, the waiver wire has really benefitted the Coyotes well in the last two seasons. Not the usual way to add to a team, but Maloney and the rest of the staff have done a nice job locating extra sources of talent for the Coyotes. Unfortunately, the team is really going to need more production from Olli Jokinen if we're going to be watching playoff hockey. At 15 goals and 15 assists, he's only on pace for 58 points this season. That's real low considering he's scored 71, 91, and 89 points in his last three seasons.
