Other than the first 15-20 minutes of the 2nd half, Arsenal looked like one of the best teams in the world yesterday.

Probably Gael Clichy's best game since returning, and in fact both wing fullbacks (Clichy and Sagna) played really well. And Bendtner... he's barely looked like a competent player recently and then he comes in and has a hat trick. Eboue was awesome from when he stepped on the pitch and Diaby and Song kept control in the midfield.

And of course, I love it when Samir scores, and his run was a thing of beauty.

Nasri's goal was amazing. He beat 3 defenders and the goalie on a sharp angle.

It was good to see Bentner get his first hat trick after the terrible game he had on Saturday.

Bye bye Real.

Lyon, ManU, Arsenal, Bayern so far should be an interesting next round. So far I'd say anyone can lose to anyone. It'll depend on match day shape.

No Chelsea, no Real Madrid. Aah, life is good for at least the next 12 hours.

Go Barca!

Unbelievable goal by Messi, surrounded by 4 Stuttgart players! Best player in the world, hands down.

Did you see his last league game against Valencia? He had a hat trick in the 2nd half and was unbelievable.

Ronaldo can SUCK IT! :D

As a fan, I don't like the seeding, with my favorite 2 teams in the world going up against each other. But I guess I'll have to pull more for Barca over Arsenal, but I'll cheer for both if they do well. Barca though is a pretty powerful squad, more powerful than Arsenal.

As for Bayern/ManU, outside of Germany, you'll be hard pressed to find ANYONE who chooses Bayern over United. I would LOVE if Bayern would win, but it probably won't happen.

As for Inter/CSKA, if Barca goes through it doesn't matter who wins that draw, but if Arsenal surprisingly makes it, it's CSKA all the way. Actually, CSKA is who I want to win regardless because it will be an easier challenge for Barca or Arsenal.

Nice Demichelis is the best ManU player out there.

Ref fails to give Munich the penalty for Ferdinand dragging Olic.
Olic misses a sitter.
Altintop gobbles up a sitter.

The worst Man u have played since christmas. Bayern did well mind you after a poor start.

I just bricking it that Rooney has done something bad to his right peg with the World Cup just around the corner.

Bayern was without their best 2 players of the season Schweinsteiger and Robben and missed their best center forward.

Bayern has played against ManU 8 times now in the CL, lost just once and that was the miracle of Barcelona.

I can't see Bordeaux or Lyon beating Bayern or ManU.

Yes Bordeaux did twice in the group stages but both were incredibly lucky. Bordeaux only had about 5 chances combined in both games, red cards/suspensions for Bayern, no Robben/Ribery etc, a heelkick goal by a defender etc..
