I'm going with 10-6. D plays very well and Skelton doesn't loose games with our running game controlling clock.

Poor qb play
sieve of a OL
Defense regresses - too much pressure on them

Whis's job will be in jeopardy at the end of the season.

The oline is a mess. Shaky at the QB position. Cards luck means the D regresses.

8-0 at home, 1-7 on the road? That would probably be the most lopsided Home-Away split in NFL history. Well, at least we'd get our money's worth at UOP!

Yes... we usually do well at home and, as per the schedule, most of the home games are winnable. All road games are tough and we typically suck on the road.

Even in 2003 with that terrible team the Cards were 4-4 at home going 0-8 on the road. 2004 it was 5-3 at home 1-7 on the road. 2007 6-2 at home 2-6 on the road. 2010 4-4 at home 1-7 on the road.

Solid depth everywhere except on the OL where we are thin as a thread. The loss of 2 OTs before the season started dooms the Cardinals.

4-2 largely by virtue of an easy schedule has many on here with sugar plums dancing in their heads... then the wheels come off

7-9, and I think thats being kind, but IMO, the Cards are a really tough beat at home and the leaders on this team will keep pushing all year. Its really hard to picture us getting over 7 wins, that schedule in the 2nd half of the year is probably the toughest in the league.

The defense will be fine, but the offense will be one of the worst we've ever seen in AZ, which is saying something.

12-4 Ravens wflacco style would be better. :koolaid:

But that Dilfer team had something we don't:

Harry Swayne 14 year vet started 6 games for the Ravens the year before.
Mike Flynn in his third year with the Ravens
Jeff Mitchell had started 26 games for the Ravens '98-'99
Edwin Mulitalo started 8 games the year before
Jonathan Ogden who had started 61 games for the Ravens '96-'99

And look at Flacco's offensive line: McKinnie, Ben Grubbs who the Saints just paid a $10 million signing bonus, Matt Birk who had started 16 games 9 of the last 10 seasons. Marshall Yanda 5th year with the Ravens and pro bowl last season. And of course Michael Oher.

We had an offensive line like either of those and we'd all be on here talking about 9-7 and 10-6 or even 11-5 instead of the reverse.

Preseason Koolaid just tastes so gooood.

The only thing that truly scares me at this point is the Oline and at this point really it's only the LT position. Well that and the continuity thing which has 3 new starters with minimal practice time together as a unit.

Somehow, between now and Sunday afternoon, I have to come up with a way to believe in this team. For me, it's just no fun going into a game with anything other than a positive attitude. I don't suppose you know where I can buy that stuff you're drinking? I'm gonna need a 5 gallon drum of it but price is no object.:)

The NFL.COM weekly pick 'em group all selected the Seahawks to win this Sunday. Which is good for us because they all picked NY to beat Dallas. :koolaid:

This could get ugly early. If that happens and the team mails it in early I sadly see a 4-12 season.
