Assuming there is one of course, this kid looks legit, and I'm proud to say he's a Kiwi born and bred. He was at Adidas Nations last year and led the whole thing in rebounding 11 PG outplaying several US bigs. They just finished the 2011 Adidas Nations and Adams was back and better than ever. Had 20 boards in one game and then put up 37 and 18 boards against a US 2013 team. Adams is 2012 so he'll be a senior and apparently there is talk he'll come to the US and play at Notre Dame Prep this year. his coach says he's got a long ways to go academically to qualify but he's verbally committed to Jamie Dixon and Pitt.

I saw a couple of clips on him today he was outplaying Tarczewski(sp?) and Robert Upshaw and last year got the best of Isiah Austin, all 6'10" or bigger and highly regarded in the 2012 class. Some are saying he's a top 3 kid in 2012 if he comes to the US and a future lottery pick.

I figure if the NBA lockout is going to piss me off at least I can be happy about a Kiwi kid who's trying to make the NBA to get his family out of poverty and the kid looks REALLY good.

It's hard to focus on a young prospect this far out with the NBA in tatters. I wish him the best. New Zealand is one of those beautiful countries I have always wanted to visit.

Go "Kiwi."

He actually may be in the 2012 draft now apparently has the same idea as Andre Drummond who because of age thinks if he plays this year at a prepschool as a 5th year senior he can qualify for the 2012 NBA draft.

Depends on what happens to the rules of course but because Adams is now going to be in the US, Scout.com just put him in their US rankings for 2012 at #8 but one of their ratings guys said on a UCLA board he'd probably be top 5 and maybe top 3.

Draft Express is showing high schoolers. I don't know their rationale, but it would change the draft big time if high schoolers ane added along with Freshmen that held themselves out of the draft...this could be a very interesting draft.
