If there was one game I thought we'd get killed, this was it. Man, I thought Oregon was going to be out for blood, I figured a final of Oregon 61-24 was realistic. What a win.

How high are the Cats going to be ranked next week? I'll guess 16th.

UofA has playmakers on both sides of the ball. ASU does not...

What a moronic post.

I'm talking about a 10 year span here where it seems nearly every year UofA has a big upset win. Over that whole span UofA has had playmakers on both sides of the ball and ASU hasn't? What an idiot.

Credit the defense and the offensive line for this one. We owned the trenches.

Scooby Wright is turning into one of the better linebackers in football. Not bad for a 2* recruit.

RichRod loves Michigan's meltdown almost as much as our 5-0 start

Wow, congratulations that is a great win. I watched Oregon eek by WSU last week and thought they looked vulnerable. But your guys executed great and the D really stepped up big time. It is amazing how quickly Solomon has taken the reigns and played so well. Outplayed Mariotta, no doubt there.

Man the combo of the UCLA beat down and the UofA upset really twisted your panties huh?
Yea, I was referring to this season...got a problem with what I said? Is it not true??

Anyway, if ASU can take anything away from the game last night it's that UofA's defense actually tackled! When they hit a guy, the guy went to the ground! What a concept...

He's just bitter. After all almost every ASU fan on this board had somehow convinced themselves that despite losing four games last year that they had entered the ranks of the elite while UofA had descended to New Mexico State level. Its why ASU has such a disgruntled fanbase, lack of understanding of the reality of their program.

Now as that relates to UofA, what a win last night. An Just great play in the trenches especially the offensive line. However last four times we have beaten Oregon (the powerhouse in Tempe has zero wins against the Ducks in that span) I believe we laid an egg in our next game. This team is capable of beating anybody and losing to anybody so one week at a time. I said 7-8 wins preseason and that could be bumped up to 8-9 now but they're definitely not good enough to take any game for granted.

Thanks.

I wouldn't say Anu outplayed Mariotta, but rather, the defense made him one-dimensional and collapsed the pocket thanks in large part to Oregon's makeshift line. Like many DT-QB, take away their legs and force them to make plays in the pocket and they'll struggle.

BTW-I still love Mariotta as a pro prospect

Oregon continued to shoot themselves in the foot over and over but you can't take anything away from the stellar effort by Arizona.

Great play by the front line of UA. That O-line was just mauling guys.
Run the ball and stop the run!

Great win. Again. ASU would be fine if they didn't have to play so many tea,s that are better every year.

That U of A/Oregon rivalry is going to start actually being a real thing now. The Ducks can't possibly hate any school more at this point.

My source geographically closer to the BIg 10 schools says watch out for schools throwing big bucks at Rich Rod now.

Well he made the big play over and over again. And Mariota did not rise to the occasion. Solomon will be giving teams fits for years.

Taking nothing away from your W, but Oregon has been overhyped and overrated all year. Yes they beat Mich State but they have not looked great all year.

Anu was the better player in the fourth quarter, but he has to learn to put together a complete game for 60 minutes. Mariotta did make some big boy throws, like the one on 4th and 11.

It's tough to gauge because the game plan was to frustrate Oregon's defense with short outs and wheel routes, which all but made Cayleb Jones, Austin Hill and our other receivers useless.

Solomon has a lot to learn, but you're right, once he figures it out, he's going to be a household name in the PAC.

Congratulations to the U of A for a great win over Oregon. I think this is two wins over Oregon back to back.
