The 49ers essentially have 5home games in the final 6 weeks. They have 2 home games then "travel" to Oakland then @ SEA and play final 2 games at home. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me. :(

I don't like the 4th week bye for a non playoff team or playing the Chargers back to back to start on MNF. That is just a Cardinal weird deal- WTF - never seen it before will never see it again.

Good catch, I didn't think about it!
But yeah it's happened before, remember the Pack in 2009 :D

Wasn't the Pack where we played them in Week 17 with the playoff match-up already set and then played them the next week in the Wildcard? Or am I thinking of something else?

Playing the Chargers 2 weeks running with give the coaches time to figure out who they think
they are so our boys don't let them off the hook.

Schedule sets up absolutely terrible for me to attend games. The two games I had targeted, Dallas and Denver, fall on the worst possible weekends for me. Then, the best weekend all year for me to go to a game, the Cards are on a bye :bang:. WTH.

Right now, Philly at Arizona is looking like my home game. I really want to go to Dallas though.

the last game of Week 1 definitely sucks, but at least it's a home game.

hate starting the season after everyone else. opening day is the best regular season week of the year at the bar.

+1.

Cannot stand it. CAN NOT STAND IT!

I hate when the Cardinals season opener is this BS late Monday night game. It sucks.

Especially if you are a east coast fan since the game starts at 10 flippin' 30.

Stupid. NFL should be on Sundays, and only Sundays......but that is just me......

......and I hope everyone else on the West Coast enjoys the game, I mean AZ is in the west afterall. :D

Vivid seats
Sec 133 $208 each. The longer you wait the more they'll cost & harder 2 find

I don't think this is necessarily true. Prices are always going to start high, and may go higher as the season approaches, but will come back to earth within a week or 2 of the game.

I understand you out of town folks need to plan in advance (as I will for the Dallas game), but if you're patient, you can get in cheaper than $200 for uppers.

Nah. I saw plenty of folks in colors in OAK back in 2006. I sat in the black hole end zone at that one, but I wore a black Tillman t-shirt instead of a jersey. I was incognito for the most part until about mid-2nd qtr.

All in all, an interesting crowd in Oakland...a lot of really cool people, but quite a few who were really scary.

Yep Cards did play the Packers back to back however it wasn't like it was scheduled that way, it's just how the playoffs happen to go. Here they did it on purpose. Just weird.

Not too many gripes for me. I think the Cardinals got a decent schedule. No cold games and only two early start games. We get a break by catching the week 16 Seattle home game after a road Thursday game at St.Louis. The games at Denver and New York are before bad weather.

Biggest negatives are the very early bye and we do catch the Eagles in Week 8 after they are coming off their bye. But at least we have a semi-bye at Oakland.

No division games until week 3 against SF, meaning Daryl Washington will probably be back from suspension by that game. And we do catch the Niners early on when they are probably still missing Navarro Bowman and Aldon Smith.

All in all it could have been a lot worse.

I.m considering going to this game especially since my new brother-in-law (got married last Saturday) is a Giant fan.

Come on with your bad self! Let us Texans show you some hospitality :D
Btw it's priceless when I've seen the Cards beat the Cowpies in the past & the look on the fans face...though it ain't happened often.

yea

I think we had the Packers in preseason too that year- Cause Beanie Smushed them. But not scheduled back to back- But it is just a weird thing other towns will never see. I don't know whether to take pride in it or poo poo it.

Can we really afford a " throw away " preseason game? I think not, it is important to me.

I mean all AZ teams have caught the historical crap that no other teams will ever suffer and everyone blows it off because of East Coast Bias. It is not theory it is fact.

Saints bounty on Warner- ending his career early

Suns suspended in the playoffs and found out stupid ref was on the take from Vegas?

Braun steroiding past the rookie Goldsmiths homerun in the playoffs- AND EVERYBODY KNEW IT the investigation was already in! MLB just didn't give a cluck about -

NHL owned the Coyotes for freakin years

Can you imagine if any of these things happened ANYWHERE else? I mean I have seen self inflicted problems elsewhere but AZ teams had no part in this crapola.

uneven the playing field! Give the lump of goal back to Pottsville already - I tap out!

Halftime meet at the giant game anyone?

Want to go to New York but cannot. My nieces are Saints fans and they are in Cleveland that weekend. Made the committment to take then there before the schedule was released. Will be wearing my Cardinal red to this game though.

Have you moved closer to Dallas or do you plan to drive at 133.25 MPH to make it there in 8 hours? :D

Schedule makers did give us a break though. We play the Rams in St. Louis on a Thursday night and then have 10 days off until the Seahags come into UOP.

I still think this is a really tough schedule. Our early bi-week is virtually useless and we have some really brutal back to back's. ESPN had it the 8th toughest schedule in the NFL.
