Aside from the 2 games each against divisional opponents, the Cards draw:

Home

Green Bay
Minnesota
Baltimore
Cincinnati
New Orleans

Away

Chicago
Detroit
Pittsburgh
Cleveland
Philadelphia

Brutal schedule indeed. If we win 11 games against this schedule we're somebody.

where's the brutality?

All of those away games are in cold weather cities and all are east of the Mississippi. We're not exactly successful in that area of the country. Also, Minnesota, St. Louis, and Cleveland are all up and coming teams. Cincy and Pittsburgh are always tough as is Philly in Philly. Tell me, what easy games do you see?

I say the Cards go 4-2 in the division.

4-1 in the other home games(maybe lose to GB)
3-2 in the other road games(win at Chi, Cle, Det)

11-5

NJCARDFAN >>> "If we lose that game ( vs 49er's ) then we have no business being in the playoffs"

Which is it? :bang:

Cbus, do you also see who will be playing QB for the Cards, and for how many games?

That's what made it unpredictable. If Palmer stays healthy all year, I see no reason they don't go 16-0 :D.

All pending if Palmer will even be able to come back.....

If fighting through all this seasons adversities does not say we already are somebody , next season won't say it either .

What does next year's schedule have to do with losing to SF this year?

This is a great group for the fans sake.

Green Bay (NFC North) - Get to see the great Aaron Rogers burning us when we blitz.

Minnesota (NFC North) - Get to see what a team looks like with a good young QB acquired in the draft.

Baltimore (AFC North) - This is a game we should win, yet the kind of game we lose.

Cincinnati (AFC North) - Should be easy with our blitz against a red headed QB.

New Orleans (NFC South) - Oh sheet! The best TE against the worst TE Defense. This will get ugly and frustrating.

Home

Green Bay - Possible loss
Minnesota - Win
Baltimore - Win
Cincinnati - Win
New Orleans - Depends on which Drew Brees shows up, but I call a W

Away

Chicago - Win
Detroit - Loss
Pittsburgh - Loss
Cleveland - Win
Philadelphia - Win

We beat San Fran twice (new coach), Rams at least once, MUST beat Seahawks once...that's 11 wins.

All this predicated, of course, on us not playing 3rd & 4th string QBs midway through the season.

However our 2015 opponents the NFC North and AFC North both played against the NFC South which was the worst division in the NFL. They had very easy schedules in 2014 which helped pad their records. These teams are now playing us and the rest of the NFC West, its going to be much tougher for them than in 2014.
