"We never get breaks. We've never got a break since I've been here, its always the other way around so I'm glad we got a break today" - Richard Sherman after beating Minnesota

Did he forget about the Packers-Seahawks playoff game from last season lol.

In what world is Sherman living????

If it wasn't for a missed facemask call on Mike Adams we might've been victim to one of the worst playoff chokes of all time. Can you imagine if the situations were flipped and we lost on a missed facemask against Kurt?

Bottom line is every fan base thinks they get screwed and the refs are against them.

You also said the MN-Sea game was rigged too. The track record you speak of is in your head, Bro.
I threw that out as sarcasm. I should have used the icon.

The game today is not blamed on the refs. Vikes blew it.

I'm talking about the Cardinals getting jobbed over the years and how other teams get away with stuff st key times of the game like the Pats, Cowboys, Steelers and Seahawks.

The refs actually and rightfully so had nothing to do with this outcome IMO. That's the way it should be! Not so for games like last night where the stealers were greatly helped by them.

Per the rules, that was NOT a face mask violation. This has been discussed many times. The rule is clear, it was not an infraction.

Lol... Okay. I'm sure you would have said the same thing if that exact play happened to Warner in that game.

What do you mean LOL? We have rehashed this every year since it happened. Per the rules, it was not an infraction. I don't know if you are being stubborn or have writer's block. :) But when the call was made, I would have been upset, but after reading the rule, I would have seen it was call correctly. That is all you can ask for. BTW, I enjoy your posts, but in this case you really need to look at the rule and see it was called correctly. I really wish people would stop bringing this up. It was the correct call, period.

:biglaugh:

I guess we got lucky there's not a rule specifically designed for a player grabbing and pulling another player's facemask.

I've seen the video a million times. That's a facemask penalty 100 times out of 100.

I don't care if we won that way. We won and got away with one. It happens and I still love that play. Doesn't mean we didn't completely get away with murder on THE play that ended the game.

I remember it being just a minor facemask but just went back and saw the replay in slow mo. He literally grabbed his facemask and pulled him to the ground without letting go. Props to Money Mike though, Cardinal Legend. ;)

Show me that video where he "grabbed his facemask and pulled him to the ground without letting go" and we will discuss it.

Because the NFL never defends it's referees decisions on plays that literally decide a game?

Come on. He hooked the facemask and then pulled it down. Again, if that play happened to us and the NFL put out that statement, the board would be in an uproar over an obvious CYA situation.

People can believe whatever they want about it. It's just football, I don't really care who thinks it's a penalty. But, without the rule change in 08, there is no CHANCE that wasn't a flag.

That game was exactly 6 years ago today. It was so great walking out of there after winning the highest-scoring playoff game in NFL history.
