This season is D-O-N-E, over, the fat lady has sung...yea she's no longer warming up...her mic is on and she's singing loud.

You're on the ship De-Nial if you're thinking otherwise.

Question is....where do they go from here...

BA is done

Fitz is done...at least with us...

Palmer is done

O line is bad

D needs a total redesign

O needs a total redesign

John Brown is a free agent ...and didn't produce this year

DJ Humphries is in the med room more than the field

Our Veldheer's contract is up

Both guards stink

We lose our two best WR's

Our #1 pick HR has done nothing to even warrant being drafted in the 7th.

Last years #1 pick has done nothing warranted to being drafted in anything higher than the 5th round.

Bauer plays average, but gets paid as the highest paid safety in the league

.....ok I can go on and on, but I'll stop...

the positives going into next year

Patrick Peterson returns

AP aka AD returns with David Johnson in the backfield

Andy Lee has a boot of a foot

Chandler Jones returns

Special Teams (minus Andy Lee) has been and IS one of the worst in football...I gotta presume Amos is gone no matter what.

Looks like it'll be a total revamp of the roster.

I'll be looking forward to all that is to come, but it's sad to see the season is over in Early November. Ten more months to begin hope again.

Put this one to bed...and enjoy the remaining mishaps of the cruddy team we root for.

Humphries might be injured but I can actually see his current state as hard luck (did you see how he got injured and most guys would have had the injury or worse resulting from that) and he was playing from solid to good and is a keeper. Boone is solid but he plays next to weak link Shipley. Humpries and Boone are keepers and have them to build on but the center and right side need to be addressed... I am still curious what Boehm could do at his natural position

The future situatuion is bad but not dire. We're going to have a lot of money, and I'm assuming a new head coach. We have a strong left tackle and one of the best RBs in the league, assuming everyone gets back to health. Iupati is overpaid but still a road grader. I agree that half of the line needs to be mostly rebuild, but maybe Boehm at center can be an answer.

Yes, QB is our first priority and should be our #1 concern. But I don't think we have a shot at one of the top QBs. So we'll have to throw money at a QB. And we'll need to revamp the WR corps, finding some kind of a number one. I'd target Terrelle Pryor and Alston Jeffrey on the cheap.

Instead of blowing all of our resources at a QB though, we need to have to work on building at the lines.

just based on the possible numbers of first round QB's this year we would be foolish not to make a move on one. we need to make the trade. THE trade. The trade that moves us from 10 to 2 in the draft,...or even #1... in the long run the cost in draft picks will not hurt us as bad as not having "The" guy..
and as a draft pick we will have our QB for just a couple million a year...whereas guys like cousins or Luck, or Eli, Brees, etc will cost $20+mil a year.... that extra $15mil a year or so on the cap allows us to sign guys to complement and protect the QB which makes both the team and the investment better for us.
now,...if they make the deal and pick wrong...yeah, we are screwed for a couple of years. But that risk is worth taking, because if we end up screwed like that,...we will be drafting top 5 anyway and can get another QB

If you go after Pryor, might as well make a run at Cousins...especially if you can't draft Mayfield.

I think Jeffrey won't necessarily come on the cheap, with how well the Eagles are playing...and if he stays healthy all season.

Congratulations, OP. You've discovered....... nothing. We were old to start with and half the team is on IR.
Keep the core 10 and rebuild. That's the nature of the game. If you have a HOF quarterback, you can remain perpetually relevant
like the Patriots or the Colts did with Brady and Manning, otherwise, it's rise and fall.

People keep saying this, and I would agree with you, but you have to have a dance partner in order to trade up. There are 9 teams with a worse record than us, and of them, only three are 100% comfortable in their QB situation moving forward. Not only that, but I don't see any of the top 3 at the moment trading with us if the QB of the future is there. SF is the only team that could stand to trade back, and divisional trades rarely happen, especially at that magnitude.

I'm all for getting 'our guy,' but the tea leaves aren't reading well here.

All aboard the crazy train (ship). The season is not done. There are plenty of things to look for, you just can't be a pessimist to find them.

There is BG can he be the QBOTF?
There is HR can he set the edge/beat OTs as an OSLB
Will BB be the utility player he was drafted to be
Can Logan make a difference to ST when he comes back

Please feel free to add on I'm at work and that is all I have time for.

Plenty reasons for me to keep watching.

Pryor is benched up in Washington, so I don't think he and Cousins have much of a rapport. If Alston cam available I don't know that he would be "cheap," but as far as #1-ish receivers go, not a break the bank type.

cleveland will likely be first again... I guess we can just hope Kizer shows some progression as the season goes on.

You stop with Stanton crap and you play BG the rest of year. That way we know. I think all us will be able to tell after 2 games.

See if Wetzel can be a viable option for the future at RT.

Can Robert Nkemdiche keep getting penetration like he has the last couple of weeks.

Would like to see Chad Williams active and contributing.

We have some young talent and would like to see them play if the season is lost. Right now it’s not because technically we’re still in the playoff hunt. Any given Sunday and who knows with Gabbert now....

You gotta be crazy to think this team has a shot at the playoffs

The Rams and the Seachickens have PROVEN they're better and they're already WAY up on the Cards. They're not catching them unless you found a genie and you're going to use one of your three wishes.

Shoot anyone here that watches the NFL can see that over 1/2 of the teams in the league are way better than the Cardinals are.

The Cardinals have been BLOWN OUT in the Cowboys (28-17), Eagles (34-7), Rams (33-0) and Seattle (22-16) games. All games were DONE in the 3rd Quarter...and some earlier. The Cowboys and Seattle score look a lot closer than the game was.

The Cardinals have 2 wins....vs the 49ers (big whoop)

I would love to be optimistic with you...but the REALITY is they're done and they're playing for pride, stats, future contracts and NEXT YEAR.

They play the Texans - they could win
Jags - no way
Rams - no way
Titans - no way
Redskins - no way
giants - they could win
seattle - no way

Better chances it snows in Phoenix this week than the Cardinals make the playoffs.

Final record - best case 6-10

On what planet are 28-17 and 22-16 blowouts? And done by the 3rd quarter or earlier? Seattle had a 5 point lead going into the 4th quarter and the Dallas game was tied going into the 4th quarter. I mean really? I know this team has stunk up the joint this season but at least have your facts straight before making statements like these.

Pryor? You gotta be kidding - he stinks.

Keep in mind we only have two WRs under contract for next year. JJ Nelson and Chad Williams. Pryor has size and speed and played very well for the Browns. Gotta fill the roster somehow, and he wouldn't be a bad option to compete for #2.

Did you not watch those games? I've been at every home game...I maybe I'm slightly off, but I recall the Cardinals fans were leaving well before the game was over....and COME ON re: Seattle...that game was OVER in the 3rd....the Cards got a last second TD to make it close...thus the score LOOKS closer than it was. 1/4 our section was gone within 5 min of the 4th quarter....and we were asking 'why haven't we left yet.' ...one more drive....yea then we left too.

This team IS NOT COMPETITIVE

Man, maybe you're ready to quit when the team is down by less than a touchdown, but we were within 5 points at the start of the 4th. That's not a "blowout." At the end of the 3rd in the Dallas game, it was tied.

Sure, we let it down at the end, but pretending like we weren't competitive from the start is an outright lie. I'm sorry if your section sucks and bailed as soon as the team went down by less than two scores.
