2017 Salary Cap

The Cardinals are currently 40M under the 2017 cap. Two cap cuts are Daryl Washington and Justin Bethel. This saves us 8.4M toward the cap. The rookie pool should be about 7M. We also have 4M carried over from 2016. This leaves us with 45.4M to sign free agents.

Signing both Jones and Campbell would cost 25M. I don't see this happening. I think we sign Jones and Campbell leaves. Cap cost 12M.

We need a second CB. No one on the roster is capable of filling that role. Cap cost 4M.

RG - Signing a free agent will cost us 3M. Although it is possible we will fill this position with a player already on our roster.

This leaves us with 26.4M to re-sign our free agents.

That HB signing could come back to haunt us. I know nothing will be done now but I don't see this guy staying healthy and he may never be what he once was. Would be a shame to lose out on a Swearinger or Jefferson and have HB sitting out with some type of injury for most of the season.
