I chose think L.A./want L.A. because, as I've posted, I always root for the N.L. team. And the one that eliminated us for "We were beaten by the champs".

I really wanted to vote for Think dunno Want: LA

I'd like the Bums stadium to burn to the ground - with no one inside - so the series has to be moved to Houston and the Astros can sweep them.

Is that too much to ask for??

The Dodgers haven't been called Dem Bums since they moved from Brooklyn to L.A. after 1957 -- sixty years ago. Except once recently on this site.

Wow, some people hold a grudge . . . for the team that won one World Series in their 73 years back East. I was proud of the Dodgers of Jackie Robinson and Pee Wee Reese and Don Newcombe and Duke Snider and Roy Campanella and Gil Hodges, etc. We used Dem Bums as an affectionate term, even in New Jersey, which I left 39 years ago for Phoenix.

Dem Bums'
Stadium, Ebbets Field, did not burn to the ground. It was demolished in 1960 and replaced by apartment buildings.

I bought the DVD, "For Love Of The Game", starring Kevin Costner just to hear the golden tones of Vin Scully doing play-by-play throughout the movie. Vinnie was the best! And Dem Bums were special.

I really don't mind this Dodgers , but really like this Astros team.

I think I give the Dodgers a slight edge, with the Astros holding the heart edge.

Should be a great series

Astros in 5. The offenses are comparable, but Houston's starting pitching is much better.

My prediction?

Astros in 4. Puig sets all time record for strikeouts in a series, then the team bus "accidentally" leaves him at the stadium, so he has to call an Uber, but then the Uber is late, and even when he shows up the Driver is rude because he's a Dodger fan and Puig sucks... So then he gets home and goes to drown his sorrows in Rocky Road ice cream but when he opens the freezer,,, there is no Rocky Road. Also Verlander Pitches a nono. ;) GO STROS!

Had the old rules been in place, HOU instead of LAD would have HFA.

Look to see how much that makes a difference.

Which Old Rules?

The All-Star rule, or the prior? Because if your buddy Bud hadn't done the All-Star crap, it would have been the NL's turn to host anyways.

The ASG rules. I didn't go back to the alternate years and figure that ish out.

It is really easy to remember - Dbacks had home field advantage in 2001. So the NL had homefield advantage in odd years, AL in even years.
