I'm glad Harrison is gone but a little bummed Reed is. Perhaps we can bring him back on a Two-Way deal. I like that better than bringing Harrison back on one. We already have 2 project PG's and since Harrison can't shoot or do much offensively it would take too much time to try and develop him. That time can be better served working with Okobo and Melton more. Canaan won out because of experience it seems.

I guess that disabled player exception wasn't coming for Arthur. They probably heard back on that because if they hadn't then they could wait a few more days to sign Crawford officially while waiting to hear back from the league office. His roster spot would be free once that was approved.

I wouldn't mind having Jawun Evans on a two-way contract.

Looking at the Suns roster again it looks like:

Point guard:

Canaan
Crawford
Okobo
Melton

Shooting guard:

Booker
Daniels
Bridges

Small Forward:

Ariza
Jackson
Warren

Power Forward:

Anderson
Holmes
Bender

Center:

Ayton
Chandler

Two Way Contract:

King

Crawford may play PG for us but he's not a PG. He's a SG that has slowed down enough that we'll try him as PG because we have a huge hole there.

Probably it's too late, but after him waived by the Bucks, wouldn't be Tim Frazier the best PG on Suns roster?

Plugging in players at certain positions can usually be debated. It's just where I chose to put Crawford in my positional breakdown. He might be best described as a combo guard of sorts. My primary concern was to look at the Suns 15 man roster again.

I like Tim Frazier as another point guard to consider. I think the Suns will continue to look at the point guard position. Players like Tim Frazier, Juwan Evans and Patrick Beverley (when waived later on due to salary) will continue to draw interest.

I think it's a matter if the Suns want to make more changes.

Yep. They have the luxury of waiting on Crawford to see what might become available. Reed makes the most sense.

Not a misfire with Reed. He was a second round pick. They rarely stick.
That year's 2nd round had more talent than usual.

Half or more of those guys would be rotation players for the Suns.

Hindsight is really really easy.

I do know that the player I wanted with that pick was Jordan Bell.

Except in that case, most draft projections had Reed as either undrafted or late second round at best... and some of us here did, too.

Why is Dragan Bender on this team? That guy would lose in a game of "Horse" to Jerrod Mustaf. :D

I guess the Suns are still working on a trade for Davon Reed.

I can get enthused about these happenings... if they occur.

Reed is gone. Nobody wanted him in a trade.

Reed could be resigned as a two-way player.

Reed just got a 2 way contract with the Pacers. Seems like a good fit. The Suns should try to sign one of these two to their remaining 2 way contract:

Good for reed. I do think he could provide legit nba spot minutes for an nba team.

I'd like for the Suns to give Jawun Evans a look on a two-way contract.

Moving on from two former Phoenix Suns.

Harrison goes from starting for a pro NBA team to getting bounced around in the G league.

Life sure comes at ya fast.

As far as I know the Suns have not filled the other two-way contract.
