Just spoke with Sweden coach Tomas Monten. Victor Soderstrom (ARI), the last player added to the team, has been very good here. He's happy with what he's brought. Once they knew they wouldn't get Boqvist (CHI), they were happy to have an option like Soderstrom.
League source: D Aaron Ness has cleared waivers. He will report to Tucson (AHL).
Coyotes president of hockey operations John Chayka said Tuesday that Ness needs to play games.

Lane Pederson and Kyle Capobianco of the #Roadrunners have been named to the 2020 #AHLAllStar Classic, which will take place later this month in Ontario, CA.
It'll be the fourth time in four seasons that the team is represented by multiple players at the event, a huge honor.
Goalies Antti Raanta, Darcy Kuemper, Adin Hill & Ivan Prosvetov will all begin this three-game road trip with the Coyotes vs. Florida, Tampa & Carolina. Corey Schwab will have a full classroom.
Also, defenseman Nik Hjalmarsson is on the trip.
Per Rick Tocchet, Antti Raanta told goalie coach Corey Schwab he felt half decent to start practice and then “it started bugging him” so he came off the ice. Still not certain who will start against the Florida Panthers on Tuesday but Adin Hill seems likely.
