Sacramento is paying over 12 million per year to a back-up pg. And some people are upset about 17 million to Rubio.

Worst case is if he does not live up to that contract.Worst case, they trade him for depth. To match his salary will be expensive and they can probably add 2 solid rotation players at the least for him.
Favors to the pelicans
David Griffin has been doing work. I am impressed. What an off-season for Griffin and the Pels.
My question is, When did D'Angelo Russell become a good player? We regularly panned him just a few years ago.
That's because he was on the Lakers, so the board had to tear him down regardless of his talents.
The Lakers preferred Ball to Russel and used him to dump Mozgov's contract.

3 years, $30 million. Traded for a 2nd round pick and the right to swap firsts.
Holy crap!!! GS is going to be right there again.

I honestly don’t see the fit DLO in GS but good lord give the front office credit they swing for the fences over there.

They are basically paying a max contract for a sixth man. It's really a weird fit.
That's a bargain for the Bulls getting Santoransky for a second round pick and he is on a reasonable contract to as well.
Even if he doesn't fit - he is a very good asset to trade in the future.

Free agent Wayne Ellington has agreed to a two-year, $16M deal with the New York Knicks, agent Mark Bartelstein of @PrioritySports tells ESPN.

It wasn't a matter of fit. It was what they could get for their Durant cap space. They can always move him for a position of need later.I honestly don’t see the fit DLO in GS but good lord give the front office credit they swing for the fences over there.
