With his recent arrest, I'll buy that reasoning. I don't think Booker has much room to complain about that reasoning either. Dude got popped with weed at the airport. It's not running in handcuffs but it is incredibly stupid.

Add in how the last friend of Booker's we had got him into an AM fight in a parking lot, or looking for a fight in a parking lot, and I can see why they wouldn't want Russell.

Obviously we didn't have the dough to pull this off, and it is costing Golden State a first round pick.

Yes, I wish the suns had done that.

I liked Santoransky but I liked Rubio as well.

All equal I might have chosen Tomas because he is a better shooter. Anyway, I'm very happy with Rubio because he more of a true point guard.

Looking at the remaining free agents on the board, if Lakers can't get Kawhi that team might not make the playoffs. Plus if LeBron or AD gets hurt that could legit be the worst team in the league.

I guess the Lakers don’t want JR Smith. They just signed Troy Daniels.

Good for Troy! He get's no respect. He's a better shooter than a $2 Mil deal.

Anyone who trades for JR Smith is trading for his contract. I don't think anyone actually wants JR Smith the player.

I know people keep asking where Ayton is at. I see he was at a Mercury game, I think last Friday?

Apparently GS looking to trade D'Lo. Since they're in Lux tax hell, they wanted asset(s) to use to strengthen team since they were losing KD. Now the question is, do they make a trade before July 6th or have to wait till December and to who?

Jazz waiving Raul Neto. He is a solid backup point guard.

They have to wait until December or so to make that move don't they? DLo better play well, that is a fat contract he signed.

I am pretty sure our cap gurus have said repeatedly you cannot trade for a guy and immedialtely trade him in another deal. The thing I wonder, is since the deal is not official, and this not a deal yet, can it be consider part of a larger deal in theory, making a two team into a three team dea? Kind of what we saw with the Lakers adding to the AD deal?
