Bucks center Pau Gasol underwent surgery to repair a navicular stress fracture in his left foot and will miss the remainder of the playoffs.
He was hardly playing. Probably from the injury. It sucks, because I am sure they were looking to play him during the playoffs since they seemd to limit his minutes during the season.

The pressure is on the Rockets...

I think it's largely on 2 guys, James Harden, and Chris Paul. Harden has been amazing but vanished in the 4th quarter of game 5. And Paul, most of the attention on him is for all the dirty plays and the flops, he's not played poorly at all 19 and 9 42 from 3 45 overall but save game 4 he really hasn't come up big at the end of games either.

I expect them to win tonight. Tucker the last 2 games has been brilliant, if he and Shumpert keep making 3's it's very tough on the Warriors to guard Harden and CP3.

I will miss the end we're driving to Sacramento tonight leaving about 8. I really don't like listening to NBA games on radio while driving so I probably won't know the score until we get to our gas stop in Tracy and I check.

Hoping the W's win but expecting a game 7 Sunday afternoon.

Most people hear "Tracy, California" and think of Altamont or the tire fire that burned for a decade, I think of the best Tasty Freeze west of Oklahoma. I consulted with a financial institution there back in the early 90's and I think I drove through for a burger, fries and a malt almost every night for 6 months.

I expect a game 7 too unless James pulls a Harden and completely disappears.

Google says Fosters Freeze on Grantline Road in Tracy is that it?

We stop at Tracy blvd there's a gas station there just past the 2 main ones and the Denny's a half block down is a truck stop that's often 20=30 cents lower than the 2 stations back a half block. Stop there, go pee, get gas. They sell fried chicken too never brave enough to buy it. on the other side there's a Filipino restaurant near I think McDonalds that's good but it can be impossible to park there so we usually don't stop there. They have an In N Out now too plus another decent burger place name escapes me right now. Someone is trying to turn Tracy into a real town and not just a place people live and commute from, they built several huge warehouses along 205 there but so far not too many businesses in them. I know people who live there and work in Sunnyvale, can't imagine commuting like that every day.

Yeah fires and the altamont seem to go hand in hand , lots of grass and windy so they spread fast.

I know they have a lot of fire problems but that tire fire was something else, it really did burn for many years. As for the TF, I can't remember the name of the street, I know there was a Best Western about a block away (where I stayed) and it was right off the interstate coming from Stockton where I was also consulting. Anyway, Tasty Freezes for the most part had all been bought up and turned into meh fast food joints but there was a time back in the 60's where you could make the case they had the best overall burger related food of any of the stands or drive thrus. For some reason, the TF in Tracy had survived intact.

I think the refs will insure a game 7. The NBA is pretty predictable that way.

I can’t stand the floppers Harden/Paul and Coach Whineyhiney.

I'm not a fan of either team but I'd like to see the Warriors stretched to 7 games. Enjoy your trip.

I'd like to see the Portland/Denver series go at least 15 games but if I had my way, the Warriors and Rockets series would have gone to whichever team got suited up first on opening night.

From the 2 minute review 3 interesting calls. Klay fouled Gordon no call on a play Gordon lost the ball. On the play where Klay falling out of bounds passed it and everyone is saying Klay's foot touched out of bounds first, the NBA says they have no conclusive replay that proves that so good call. At least one I saw looked like foot down and ball still touching hand but the NBA says no. On the play the Rockets went nuts when Livingston and Gordon collided, I actually thought it might have been a foul on Livingston. The NBA says it should have been a foul, on Gordon not Livingston.

I worked at a Tasty Freeze, and I would rate their fried chicken better than their burgers. I cooked a LOT of fried chicken!

Yeah, I actually liked pretty much everything they offered including the fried chicken - I just used "burger related" to indicate the type of restaurant I was comparing it to.

In between graduating from high school and joining the Army I tried to hitchhike across the United States. I lost the travel bug and ran out of money in Enid, Oklahoma. So I took a job delivering appliances and furniture throughout Oklahoma and Kansas but finances being what they were I ended up sharing a tiny apartment with an ex-con that never ate anywhere else. I'm sure he selected that apartment due to it's location, it was directly across the street from our front door. Needless to say, I fell in love with their food and have craved it ever since.

I think I saw a Tasty Freeze in Wickenburg, the website lists Tempe, Peoria, Glendale, Chandler and Mesa (Wickenburg, too). Tucson, too!

They might not be real TF's though, as I recall they were sold to another fast food company and they're more look Dairy Queen food now. Of course, there was a time when DQ had great food too, at least at their DQ Brazier Burger stores.

Andrew Bogut is the secret weapon tonight! :)

I knew they would start him. The problem is with Curry having 2 fouls the moving screens by Bogut are not as useful so Loooney is in.

Chris Paul flopped 3 times in the first 4 minutes and didn't get a single call and then got a charge. The best one was he flopped on Curry, and then tried to trip Steph when he dribbled by him.

2nd foul on Draymond was comically bad, Paul ran into him and started flailing on the ground until he got the call.

If Houston can't win with no KD, Steph, Draymond and Looney both with 2 fouls in the first quarter they should be ashamed.

And for those who don't follow the Warriors you are seeing why Quinn Cook isn't playing more in this series, just can't guard.

Chris Paul just threw a bounce pass to himself on the break and kept dribblign and scored. I get the NBA doesn't call palming much but he literally went to throw a bounce pass and tried to pull it back and caught it and dribbled again

Russ, I love ya man, but what's truly is comical is you becoming such a crybaby jackass for one of the dirtiest teams that gets almost every call.
