Mavericks look to be out of gas at end of 3rd and trailing by 15.

Clippers are shooting 16-32 from three.

This is Luka’s MJ series against the Cavs back in 1989. He’s doing this totally alone. Does he have enough stamina to keep them in the entire game and hit a game winner like MJ did over Ehlo?

He needs at least one player within two standard deviations of Pippen. What an awful awful roster. Lol Donnie.

Could well be. But the way he left New Jersey tells us a lot about his character IMO so given his history I can't see him taking over a team that isn't likely to be a true contender.

He was put in an odd spot with Lillard directly stating he wanted Kidd as their coach right after Stotts stepped down. If Kidd went along with it and didn't get them further than Stotts then it might be his last stop as a head coach.

I think he's got the Lakers job in the bag though. Its just a matter of time.

Mavs should move to Canada, that was pathetic. The Ottawa Mavericks?

They don't belong in the Wild West.

I suppose but Utah is taking them out

I can see Utah dropping game 1 simply because they had so much time off while the Clippers should be geared up. Who knows what version of the Clippers show up though. If they get the same Clippers and Kawhi from the last 2 games then Utah could be in trouble.

I still like Utah to win because I don't think the Clippers will stay motivated for long. Even if they can steal game 1, that will allow them to get lazy in game 2.

Yeah kinda wanted to face Luka (we do so well vs him) but id rather have the Clippers and Jazz wearing each other out incase we get that far.
Yeah. That war of attrition will help if we advance. I think Utah would handle the Mavs much easier than the clips.

I am not sure who to root for: Utah or LA. I think Utah, just because they can’t guard Booker, and home court doesn’t seem to matter to us too much (we seem comfortable on the road).

Not even close to tanking. They have serious motivational issues.

I would have said "serious chemistry issues" but either way, yeah they frequently fall far short of their talent level which is easily top 5. That's not a very good Mavericks team so it's tough to figure how Dallas can take the Clippers to 7 games without any significant LAC injuries.

John Wooden wouldn’t be able to win with these non-Luka scrubs. I am curious why Brunson didn’t play much.
