Maybe it's me but it seems like there are more players with injuries this season.

There seems to be more players with Covid, it seems. Every day we're hearing of a few players in health and safety protocols.

I was actually thinking about injuries other than health and safety protocols. The Nuggets are down several players, so are the Heat, Hawks and even the Suns. Some injuries are carry-over injuries from last season. Damian Lillard is even out for the Trail Blazers.

Seems to always be LOTS of injuries at the start of the season. PPL not in shape playing extra hard so they don't fall behind in the standings.
As soon as they realize that they have no chance in hell against the Suns they will fall back into place and take it.

Two straight years with shortened off seasons, last season, even though they only played 72 games, they played those 72 games on an extremely condensed time frame. That combined with players probably being unable to get access to their typical training places and trainers themselves for a long stretch during covid. Also, players missing time if they test positive.

All factors that could combine to more guys missing games and getting banged up.

But I suspect the jam packed schedule last year and the brief off-season are the biggest factors.

Hell yeah, driiiiive that price down. I don't want the Suns to have to include any draft picks in a Thad Young trade.

Perhaps a similar format for removing an owner as well?

Would be great to have him, but how do we pull that trade off without messing up our core/team chemistry?
Well, now that we've proved we can win without Devin, how about Booker for Young and salary match (White, Primo and Johnson work)?

Of course, we have to make that trade today, if we wait until tomorrow we may no longer be convinced we can win without Devin.

And, please, just shoot me if we make a deal like this!!!

We could be waiting until players signed this summer are eligible to trade. Not sure when that date is. If that is the case, it could explain Young not getting any pt.

Players who recently signed as free agents or had their two-way contracts converted:

A player who signs a free agent contract typically becomes trade-eligible either three months after he signs or on December 15, whichever comes later. That means a player who signs on September 22 would become trade-eligible on December 22.
