Lets see if Cards trade Andy to move up to get another 6th rounder before 223?

I would have been happy with Greg Newsome in the 1st.

Marco Wilson beats him in every important athletic measurement except arm length, and there's barely anything in that. In most he beats him by some way.

No doubt Wilson needs coaching up, but with his bloodlines and smarts and have massive hopes for him. Steal in the 4th.

measurables are nice and all, but brandon Williams had them too, and he was probably the worst corner I have ever seen play an nfl game.

ACL injuries always worry me but he seems to have bounced back nicely athletically.

Williams had barely played corner. Wilson has also been a corner and has a father and uncle who played DB in the NFL.

He might not work out but he has the tools and the pedigree. Super smart too so you would expect him to absorb the coaching to improve.

True story, I had some severe stomach issues last year. Nausea, pains, dry sweats, it was brutal. Doctors had no clue what was going on, even after tons of tests. Had to go see a specialist who finally diagnosed me. It was all stress related. It was all from watching Dre Kirkpatrick play CB

Forget BPA, this was a need pick. This is an outstanding athlete who should be an impact player, but simply isn’t. I don’t like the pick. I’ve seen a million of these guys where someone is sure they can take them and “fix” him. They can’t IMO. It looks to me like he lacks grit. He’s a poor tackler though his measurables say he should be solid. In coverage he loses track of his man too often when that man is headed deep. He doesn’t mirror well on short routes.

He is so athletic he sometimes stumbles into a good play but I’m not sure it’s intentional. It’s weird, he’ll celebrate a good play, like he’s competitive, but on the next play seem disinterested. Maybe he doesn’t like football. If he decided it was important to him he might become a player, but frankly I doubt it. What a waste of talent. I wish the Cards had a great mentor to pair with him, but I’m far from confident that would be enough.

I like the pick. Glad Keim pulled off the trade. We will have 10 picks next year so trading the 4th for him is no big deal. Filled a huge need at CB. Still wold like to see Keim sign another free agent vet CB as there are several experienced ones out there and we have about $14 million in cap space.

Ground control to Mr Nelson, please. He seems to be posting quite a bit about the draft on Twitter. Must be waiting to see how things pan out before signing
