Green was already pushing Poole backwards with his body before Poole tried to push him away. I don't see how anyone can put this on Poole as provoking the reaction.

Watch the video again if there is any doubt.
From what we know right now, this is on Green, completely. But Green is unstable, you have to deal with him differently than an actual human being. You should treat him like the angriest man that's just been released from prison. That two handed shove by Poole gave Draymond the excuse he was looking for which, in his mind, justified his over the top reaction.

And Poole didn't "try" to push him away, he gave him a forceful two-handed shove to the chest which created separation between the two players. Against most teammates, that might have been appropriate - he stood up to a bully and showed he wasn't afraid of him. But against Green? That's just stupid. Call it what you want, at that point, his shove provoked Green's next response. And none of this changes the fact that the flying punch was unwarranted.

The video says it all. A person is allowed to defend themselves.

You keep returning to the video as if we disagree on it. We don't. But it isn't a perfect world. Giving Green any excuse for retailation is like petting a rabid dog or cuddling with a wild python.

I call it self-defense.

My cat has already ruled on the matter.

Okay but everyone knows you don't mess around with Draymond, even if you do have a two-piece custom made pool cue.:)

Seriously?
Seriously. One minute mark. "And then I had to take a step back too and realize that this video was actually released this way… to look that way."

Right. It’s Doctored because “he’s not that bad of a guy”

Plus he’s mad the leak shows how much of a punk he really is. If this was his first incident it would be one thing. He’s got a Jordan ego with bill Cartwright results

What had me scratching my head was how he said he’s sorry for embarrassing Poole. He should be embarrassed about himself. Also he mentioned how Pooles mother felt about the situation, but he doesn’t mention how his mother would have reacted to his own actions. He’s not sorry one bit, he’s sour he’s not going to get paid. What a D

Still early and just highlights and the boxscore, but the Clippers look scary. They lost but that always doesn't tell the whole story. Their main guys scored just about even in limited minutes. And they more than a couple of guys who can put the ball in the hoop.

Most of us have been saying this for awhile. Although right now, I'm not just worried about the Clippers. I'm also concerned about the Grizzlies, Pelicans, Warriors, Twolves, Mavericks, Blazers, Lakers and the Kings. But most of all, I'm worried about that team from Phoenix.

The Hawks are picking up the options on several players. I don't know if any of this pertains to the Suns.

Yeah, as of now to be honest I don't think the Suns are playing like true title contenders.

That's what I'm worried about, and unfortunately, I'm not sure there is a solution for it this season. The one good thing is the tanking is going to be epic, so maybe some very good pieces off bad teams will become available, maybe even cheap.

Well, luckily it’s more important to peak in the playoffs like our Finals team and not like last year’s team that peaked with about 20 games left in the regular season.

Draymond Green will be fined but not suspended and will rejoin the team on Thursday.
