This is a business don’t ever lose sight of that. It goes both ways.

I get its a business. I don’t think its right when players get cut and don’t get their money. It goes both ways. If you cut a guy you pay him for the whole contract. If you don’t have any protections on trades in your contract then thats on you.

I signed a contract for 6 years in the military.. I been sent all over the place.. Its part of the job and the contract I signed.

I guess signing a contract nowadays doesn’t mean much to people. No one from players to team owners want to own up to what they signed.

I understand that. It’s also just not the way the nba works. It’s a different industry from all of ours. I occasionally fall into the thinking that you’re espousing and have to remind myself it’s a different ballgame with people sports and they’re all accustomed to those rules.
